3. X-Men Origins: Wolverine Story walkthroughUpdate notes

Step 1: First Playthrough

You will have to do the game twice, since you've got to complete the game once on any difficulty in order to unlock the hardest difficulty. It is also strongly advised you collect every other achievement before you start a brand new game on the harder difficulty, since everything you have obtained will be lost when you start a new game.

You can do your first playthrough on any difficulty. I personally would choose Easy, since you can breeze through the game more faster, and you won't have all of the enemies ganging up on you so much.

This is the playthrough as well in which you'll attempt to find all of the collectibles in the game. There are 95 Dog Tags in total. If you miss a collectible, either reload your previous checkpoint or reload the level from the start and try again. Alternatively you can always located missing Dog Tags during Step 2 of the walkthrough.

I have provided a written guide for all of the collectibles in the game. A video guide is also available if you prefer to use that instead. Credit goes to RoosterTeeth for the collection.

Note: I have placed down achievements in this game in which whereabouts you can roughly collect them. There may be some achievements which you'll get before the walkthrough tells you to, or afterwards.

Level 1: Jungle I

Note: This Video shows you collectibles for Level 1: Jungle I & Level 2: Weapon X Facility

One of the first achievements you can go for in this game is for performing a counter attack against an enemy. You can do this on any enemy in the game. At some point you will be required to perform this move to defeat enemies. Once you have performed a successful counter, you will get this achievement.

Another achievement which can be obtained instantly is the Quick Killer. To get this you will need to grab hold of an enemy by pressing the cn_B button, and then hold down the cn_Y button. You will need to time this right. When Wolverine's claws start to shine let go of the cn_Y button and you will perform a gruesome quick kill. Earning you this achievement.

Collectible 1: When you pass the first gate, you will come across a part where you should see a waterfall on your left. The collectible is behind the waterfall.

Collectible 2: You will have to fight a Fire Machete enemy. There will be a body behind him that has the collectible.

Collectible 3: You will zip-line down a rope, and then you will get to a part where you'll see a blocked gate. Head up the hill and you should see a group of enemies and some barrels. The collectible is around the barrel.

Collectible 4: You will have to climb down some vines, and then you should see four enemies with machetes and machineguns. Kill one of the machete enemies by lunging at them, and then lunge at the machinegun guy which should be on a ledge behind where you've dropped down to. Break through the wooden barrier and then run in to the secret area. You should see a open gap with a body that contains the collectible. Make sure you access this area because if you miss it, you'll have to restart the checkpoint or the level in order to try again.

In this same area there will be a hatch. If you walk around it you'll get this secret achievement as well. It is a reference towards the "Lost" TV series and the video-game Lost: Via Domus Achievements. Here is a collection of the secret area achievements. Credit again goes to RoosterTeeth...

Collectible 5: Progress a bit and you will have to climb up a cliff piece with some steps. When you drop down to the next area and get a "Checkpoint Reached" signed on your screen, turn round and backtrack to where the wooden pillars are. The collectible is here.

Classic Wolverine Figure 1: Shortly after the previous collectible, you will move up a set of steps. Nearby it there should be an entrance which is blocked by some wood. Break it and you will be able to pick-up the figurine.

Now that you have unlocked a Wolverine figure, you can get this achievement as well. From the main menu select Bonus and then select the challenge you have unlocked. You will be in a 1-on-1 battle against another Wolverine. All you have to do to get this achievement is perform a lunge attack on the wolverine. Here is a video to help you, credit goes to GamingOnly...

Collectible 6: You will eventually be in a room where there will be loads of enemies to defeat, and a rope which will be climbable here as well. Climb the rope and then you should see a platform nearby with the body that contains the collectible.

Collectible 7: Eventually you will access another area where you will drop down a couple wooden platforms to the ground, and then you'll get a message saying "Checkpoint Reached". To the right you should see some wooden pillars, and the collectible.

Collectible 8: There will be a part where you should see some stairs going downward right and a pathway on the left. If you look straight on the left path, the collectible will be in front of you.

Collectible 9: When you fight against the Leviathan Boss, go to the left and push the statue inside the building. You will then be able to get the collectible on the right side.

Collectible 10: After defeating the Leviathan you will have to climb up some vines. Once you have done that, you should see a cracked wall on the left. Destroy the crack and then follow the route to find the last collectible in this level.

This is a story related achievement, and it cannot be missed. You will be in a battle against Victor Creed (Sabretooth), and you must defeat him.

Whilst in the battle against Victor Creed, he will throw you to the outside area. There will be poles scattered around the area. You will need to grab Victor by pressing the cn_B button, and then throw him by pressing cn_B into a pole to impale him. Doing so will give you this achievement. Here is a video guide by GamingOnly which can give you an idea of what to do...

This is a level in the game in which you'll be doing quite a few lunge attacks since it's one of a few abilities you can do at the start of the game, so it'll be no surprise if you get this achievement.

There will be around 100+ enemies at the start of the game, so you should get this achievement. If you don't get it then you'll likely get it shortly after starting the 2nd level.

Level 2: Weapon X Facility

Collectible 11: Defeat the enemies which are at the start of the level, and then head to the right into the Alcove Room. The body should be nearby with the collectible.

Collectible 12: You will trigger a part where an enemy will backtrack through a door at the end and close it. At this point there should be a green door on your left. Go inside and head to the other end of the room to find the collectible.

Collectible 13: You will get to a part where you'll see an open part on the right and a stairway straight ahead. You should see a yellow/black lined door in the middle on the left. Open it and you'll find the collectible.

Some point around here you will meet your first Wendigo boss to defeat. There is an achievement that requires you to lunge onto his back. When the enemy has performed a manoever that startles himself, perform the lunge attack and land on his back. Do not lunge straight in front of him because he will just grab and throw you. A successful lunge will give you this achievement.

Collectible 14: Activate the Power Cell, and then take the lift to the upper level. Turn around and you should see a crate nearby the left edge. Use this crate to jump up and shimmy to the platform on the left.

Collectible 15: You'll come to an area where they'll be some Turret Machineguns. Take out the one on the left side and then run down the slope and take the door on the right. There will be a health boost in this room, and the collectible will be on the right of you in the room.

Collectible 16: When you get your Feral Sense ability back, defeat the enemies and then go up to where the doctor was. Nearby a blocked door and a wall is the collectible.

Collectible 17: After a situation where the enemies will throw smoke grenades at you. Continue onward and you'll have a part where you can go straight or right. Go straight through the door in front of you, and you should be at a bridge area. The collectible will be in front of your eyes.

Collectible 18: Not far from the previous collectible will be a part where you'll have two doors on the right at the bottom of the stairs. In one room you will find a whole load of beds and the collectible at the far end of the room.

Collectible 19: You will have to use your Lunge Attack to kill 2 enemies which are on the opposite platform. In this area you should see some cell doors. One of them should be open and the collectible will be in their.

Collectible 20: You will get to a part where you'll have some tunnels to choose from. There will be a forklift near the left tunnel, and the collectible will be halfway down it.

Collectible 21: You'll get to a part where they'll be a "Sector 4" logo and then a "Checkpoint Reached" message. You'll be on a platform. Follow the platform and enter the room on the left side to find the collectible.

Collectible 22: You will get to a hallway where another "Checkpoint Reached" message will be presented. If you go straight instead of right, you'll find the collectible.

You will meet a group of enemies which will shoot rockets at you. You can however reflect these attacks. When the rocket's about to hit you, use your cn_LT button to block and you will send the rocket back to the enemy. This will give you an achievement as well.

As you playthrough the game, you will find Mutagen's scattered around in the game. They are not essential in completing the game, but any you find will make the game more easier, since each mutagen will increase a specialty which your character can do. For this achievement, you only need to find 3 of the same Mutagen's. Here is a video guide with all of the locations of the Mutagens. Credit goes to IsdMyth...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&...

This is a story related achievement, and it cannot be missed. You will get this achievement upon completing the level. A video by GamingOnly which I've provided will help you how to escape this area...

Level 3: Jungle II

Note: This Video shows you collectibles for Level 3: Jungle II & Level 4: Alkali Lake

Collectible 23: You will have to take out a Leviathan and then you should see a small hill on the right side. There should be a pedestal and the collectible will be lying their.

Collectible 24: You'll enter a Temple and if you go behind the statue, you'll see the collectible.

Collectible 25: You'll get to a part where you'll get some spikes which will attempt to crush you from the top. You'll see the collectible but you'll have to rotate the wheel to get the door opened first, grab the collectible and then quickly get out of the room before you get crushed.

Collectible 26: You'll get back outside and then you'll have to move 3 huge statues with a wheel. Head to the far end of the area and you'll see a upper platform with a moveable block. Follow this upper platform and you'll find the collectible in the corner.

Collectible 27: The last part of this level is when you climb up to the top of the tower via some vines. When you climb the vines which take you inside to outside, instead of going right go left and jump on the platform to find the collectible.

The jungle levels are perfect places to get Environmental kills, in which you grab and throw enemies into objects, killing them such as impaling. You can use your Feral Sense to figure out and see which objects are highlighted in green. Any indicated in this color means the item can be used as an environment kill.

The jungle is also the likely place in which you'll kill enemies by cutting parts of their bodies. If you manage to cut body parts on 100 different enemies, you'll get this achievement. This is across all the levels you played on, so if you don't get this now then you'll likely get it later on.

As you may be aware, a large group of enemies within the jungle levels like to attack you from above. You can however perform an aerial attack by pressing cn_A to jump, and then pressing the cn_B button to grab an enemy whilst their mid-air. If done correctly you will kill the enemy whilst above. Do this to 10 enemies and you'll get this achievement.

Another achievement which is easier to get on the Tower Jungle Levels is this one. It requires you to throw 10 different enemies off high areas. It's a pretty simple achievement in which you just grab an opponent with cn_B, and then throw them with cn_B nearby an edge. If they scream it means you've got the kill! Rinse and repeat whenever possible for the achievement. Here is a video by GamingOnly which can help you...

Level 4: Alkali Lake

Collectible 28: You'll be introduced to another Wendigo enemy. In the battle area the collectible will be on the right side.

Collectible 29: The Wendigo will make a path for you, and as you run along you'll see the collectible on the right side.

Collectible 30: You'll get to a part where you''ll see a ice cave-like area and you'll get a "Checkpoint Reached" message. The collectible will be underneath the cave part in front of you.

Classic Wolverine Figure 2: After you defeat the Wendigo enemy, keep going until you get to shallow pool with some waterfalls. Go to the end of the area, climb up, turn right and go across the log. Once done turn left and then follow the ledge to find the Wolverine Figure.

Collectible 31: You will eventually have to cross over a metal tower which has formed a bridge. Once you've reached the other side, the collectible will be on the right side in a corner.

Collectible 32: There will be a part where you'll go through a fence and then there will be a pack load of guards nearby some trucks. Take out the first 2 guards which are in the inside area, and you should see a cliff view straight in front of you. There is a lower step on the left corner and the collectible will be their.

Collectible 33: In the room where the C4 is, the collectible will be right next to a set of stairs.

Collectible 34: You will then have to cross a bridge and avoid a helicopter. When you reach the other-side, there will be some guards you'll need to kill, a broken set of stairs and a forklift on the left side. Run around the corner where the forklift is, and you should see the collectible.

Collectible 35: You will have to run along sideways to avoid the helicopter. Eventually when you run down some stairs, you'll see the collectible placed in front of a pillar which is sticking out.

Collectible 36: Right after this collectible, jump onto the next platform and then drop down below in front of you, and you'll see the collectible their.

Collectible 37: You will get into a room, where you'll have to move a truck via a turntable. There will be a green door which you can kick open. The collectible is in their.

Collectible 38: You are required to shimmy along a pole and as soon as you drop down, you get a "Checkpoint Reached". Before you go through the window that gets you out, keep going left and you'll go down a small slope. The collectible will be in front of you.

Collectible 39: You will fight 2 Wendigo's, and then you will travel down a road. When you climb up some rocks which form some steps, you will see the collectible on the left side of a ledge.

  • WoW!

You feel cold as you examine the skeleton and read the name "Arthas" etched into the nearby sword

    WoW!

As you travel along in the forest you will eventually see a log which will create a upper area you can access on your right. Follow this route and it'll take you to a cave with a Shiny Sword and a Skeleton with a ! on it's head. This secret achievement will then unlock. This and the achievement's description is a reference towards the video-game World Of Warcraft (the developers must have played this whilst making this game). Here is the video again to help you...

Collectible 40: You will have to shimmy left along some ledges. And then you will climb up another shimmy. When you reach the top, look to your right and you'll find the collectible next to a set of trees.

Collectible 41: You will do some more shimming, along some pillars and avoid waterfalls. When you reach the right side you'll get a "Checkpoint Reached". Before you keep going right, go into the open gap in front of you and then go right. The collectible will be on the right in a small sewer looking area.

Collectible 42: You will get to a part where you'll see an enemy in an open window part in which you can lunge at. Go ahead and then as soon as you land, you will see the collectible in front of you.

For this achievement, you are required to fight against all 4 Wendigo's at once and then defeat them. The Wendigo's are located around a rooftop area in which Nord will shoot one of the containers, releasing a Wendigo. When he's released one you will need to break open the others so that you can release the remaining Wendigo's. You cannot get this achievement if you defeat 1 Wendigo, then release another and defeat it. You've got to break open all 4 containers and defeat them at the same time for the achievement to count. If you fail this part in the game, just reload your previous checkpoint or reload the chapter and try again. Here is a video to help you. Again credit goes to RoosterTeeth...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&...

Chances are since this is a lengthy level, you will get this achievement for lunging at a total of 100 enemies.

For this achievement, you are required to perform 3 Quick Kills in a row. This is a good level to try it on, since most areas have more than 3 enemies you can kill on. You'll need to quickly grab an enemy, perform a quick kill and then immediately press cn_B to grab a nearby enemy, and then perform another quick kill. Once you've done this to the third person in a row, you'll get the achievement. If you kill another enemy with a different attack, then you'll lose the streak and you'll have to start over.

Meanwhile, there is another achievement which requires you to perform a total of 20 Quick Kills. This is across all your games played, so if you don't get this now then you'll get this later on in the game.

This achievement is for killing a total of 500 enemies throughout the game. If you don't get this achievement around this point, then you should get it later on in the game.

This is a story related achievement, and it cannot be missed. This achievement requires you to defeat Nord, the boss in this level.

Level 5: Jungle III

Note: This Video shows you collectibles for Level 5: Jungle III, Level 6: South West USA, Level 7: Jungle IV, Level 8: Cybernetic Lab I, Level 9: Jungle V & Level 10: Cybernetic Lab II

Collectible 43: Eventually as you playthrough the level, you will enter a cave looking part, and then you'll have to dodge some obstacles. The collectible will be on the opposite side on the right corner.

Level 6: South West USA

Collectible 44: When you have exited the vent, go down the hall and take the first green door on your right. The collectible will be in the right corner.

Collectible 45: Not far from the previous collectible, exit the room and then take the first green door on the left down the hallway. The collectible will be on the left corner.

Collectible 46: In the room which has the laser controls, on the left side you will see the collectible.

Collectible 47: After you take the teleporter to the opposite side in the outer area. Run around the left side and you should see the collectible.

If you have managed to find all of the collectibles in the game up to this point, you should get this achievement for finding half of the collectibles in the game.

Level 7: Jungle IV

Collectible 48: As soon as you start the level, turn left and the collectible should be in front of you.

Collectible 49: You will be inside and you will have to avoid a couple set of spikes. Halfway across the first set you should see the collectible on the left side.

Collectible 50: You will first need to move around 3 statues to create some platforms. Once you have done that and then you have lunged at the enemy, there will be a collectible in front of the headless statue in front of you.

This is known to be the best level in which you can get this achievement on. It requires you to get 6 enemies in the air at the same time. The best method is to lure a big group of enemies around you, can then perform an attack in which you can get them all up in the sky at once.

As well as Aerial Assault, there is another achievement that requires you to kill 6 enemies at once. To help you get these achievements, here is a video to give you an idea of what you can do. Credit again goes to GamingOnly...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&...

Level 8: Cybernetic Lab I

Collectible 51: You will have to ride down some elevators and you will see a ledge in front of you with some office looking chairs and the collectible.

Collectible 52: Eventually you will take another set of platforms, and then you'll have one upper platform with some guards, and another longer one below. The longer one has the collectible on the left side.

Collectible 53: Not far from the previous collectible, head down the straight part of the platform and around the corner to find another collectible.

Collectible 54: You will find a large arena looking area which will have a load of guards and a green door. Once you have gone through the green door, kill all the enemies and look to your right to find a set of stairs which have a red sealed door. The collectible is in front of the door.

Collectible 55: You are required to move the teleporter in order to advance further into the level. If you move it to the far left and then teleport through it, you should see the collectible if you turn around and go where the computer desks are.

This is the last of the secret area achievements you can get in the game. For this achievement all you have to do is move the teleporter on the right side, instead of left. Go into the teleporter and you should get this achievement. This achievement is a reference towards the video-game Portal, which was on the The Orange Box Achievements, and it's standalone game Portal: Still Alive Achievements. (The developers must have played a lot of these games too). Here is the video to help you once more...

Collectible 56: You will have to fight a Mark 1 Prototype Boss. Once you have done that you will head back through the Cyro Freezing Area. Eventually you will come towards an area where some guards will come out and attack you. Kill them and then go into the small room. The collectible is on your right.

Collectible 57: As you progress you will have to take another elevator and the collectible will be right in front of you when you reach the top.

Collectible 58: You are required to sidestep along a small platform to reach the opposite side where an elevator is placed. The collectible is on the left of the elevator.

Collectible 59: Not far from the previous collectible you'll get to a platform which contains some computer terminals which are glowing. There will be a long platform nearby on the right side. Run along and grab the collectible.

Collectible 60: You will be introduced to the Sentinel Boss (it's inactive at the moment). Run along to the left side and you should see a red sealed door and the teleporter controls. The collectible is here.

Collectible 61: Nearby a set of teleporter controls and a Laptop on top of a crate is a collectible, which is underneath the stairs.

Collectible 62: You will be traveling around the Sentinel on a platform. Time to time it will stop around corners. One of the corners will contain a stairway. Climb up and you should see a power-up on the right, and the collectible on the left.

Collectible 63: Return to the moving platform and then take the next set of stairs and another collectible will be on the left side.

This is a great level to build up towards this achievement. If you don't get it at this point, there's plenty more levels where you still have opportunities to get this achievement. You are required to kill 50 enemies whilst in Berserker Mode. It's a manoever which you unlock around the beginning of the game. To use it press and hold the cn_RT button and then press the cn_B button. Your claws will glow in red and you will kill enemies more faster than usual. The power-up will de-activate in a short while and require regenerating.

Level 9: Jungle V

Collectible 64: You are required to lunge towards a bridge statue looking area. Before you lunge, there will be a collectible on the right to take.

Collectible 65: As you are shimming along to climb the tower, if you keep going left you'll see the collectible near some vines.

Collectible 66: Climb up some rope and then defeat the enemies that are in the inner-part of the tower. Nearby the next outside area you have to go is the collectible in a corner.

Level 10: Cybernetic Lab II

Collectible 67: Facing the Sentinel Torso, you will be attacked by some lasers. Run along and look to your left to see a sealed door with the collectible.

Collectible 68: In the room with the Sentinel Hand, you will travel along a platform and to the left nearby another sealed door near some crates is the collectible.

Collectible 69: You will take a small platform where the puzzle area is, and you will get "Checkpoint Reached". Turn around and then go behind you to find the collectible placed in a corner.

Collectible 70: In the same room, head up a ladder to a small platform to find the collectible.

Collectible 71: In the room where the bridge controls are, the collectible will be right in front of you.

Collectible 72: After you destroy the Sentinel Hand, you will be able to open a door which was sealed. Once through the door you will see 2 Collectibles on either side.

Collectible 73: Same room as Collectible 72, but just on the opposite side of which one you've taken first.

Collectible 74: After a cut-scene you will see a blue circle entrance and the collectible on the right side.

This is a story related achievement, and it cannot be missed. This achievement requires you to defeat the Sentinel (which was the boss you fought earlier in the game that was in multiple parts, now formed together).

During the boss fight against the Sentinel, you'll get to a part in which you've got to fly down towards the Sentinel who will be trying to fly away from you. You will eventually get to a part in which you'll see a O Ring. You will need to fly through the middle of it, and you'll get this achievement. If you miss you'll have to reload your checkpoint or reload the level and try again. Here is a video done by GamingOnly to help you...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&...

Straight after this battle, you will have to fight another boss. Fred Dukes (The Blob). This is a story related achievement, and it cannot be missed.

Whilst you are in the battle against The Blob, there is an achievement which requires you to destroy everything in the grocery store. A trick with this boss is to get The Blob himself to charge at some of the isles, to prevent yourself from attacking them constantly. Here is a video by RoosterTeeth to help you...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&...

Level 11: Casino

Note: This Video shows you collectibles for Casino, Jungle VI & Facility

Collectible 75: You will get a cut-scene and a whole load of guards will be trying to attack you. The collectible will be on the left side.

Collectible 76: Once you have climbed and reached the top area of where the previous collectible was. You will need to shimmy along a long rope. When you reach the opposite side, backtrack and go right to find the collectible.

Collectible 77: Not far from the previous collectible will be a breakable door and the collectible on the right side as soon as you go through.

Collectible 78: You will turn right through a doorway and you will see the collectible in front of a fountain looking area.

Collectible 79: As you progress, you will see another fountain looking area and some stairs on the right. Head up the stairs and then turn right, you should see the collectible nearby a large crate.

Collectible 80: You will shimmy on a rope across a water platform and 2 large statues. On the opposite side of the rope is the collectible in front of a door.

Collectible 81: Take a left when you exit the elevator and you'll see another rope you'll need to shimmy. The collectibles on the opposite side.

Collectible 82: You will be in a part where an helicopter will try to attack you. Before you start climbing around, go left as soon as you have reached the top of the stairs and you should see the collectible.

Collectible 83: You will climb up a set of stairs and as soon as you reach the roof, you should get "Checkpoint Reached". Go left and keep traveling around and you'll eventually see the collectible placed in a corner near the wall.

Collectible 84: You will have to take 2 Zip-Lines. Immediately after you have taken the zip-line will be the collectible in front of you.

Collectible 85: You will get to a part where you can lunge at 2 enemies. Below them in a pit area is the collectible.

Collectible 86: Not far from the previous collectible will be a crate platform which you'll have to jump on. Before you do, go into the pit area to find another collectible next to some wood.

Collectible 87: You will eventually have a message saying "Objective Complete - Chop Chop". Immediately on the left when you are able to move is the collectible.

Collectible 88: You will see an elevator with a whole load of enemies, and a crate which you can push. Before you go in the elevators, make sure you go on the right side of the elevator and grab the collectible.

Collectible 89: As you progress on the construction site, you will have to climb up one area and you should see a upper platform which can be accessed by a slope. Go up on this platform and then grab the collectible nearby the crates.

Collectible 90: Eventually you will get to a part where you'll have to climb some more and then you'll get some enemies nearby. Defeat them and then run around the corner on the right to see the collectible.

There's a large group of enemies in this level in which like shooting projectiles at you, which can be reflected. Chances are that you would have already progressed towards this achievement sometime in the course of the campaign. So if you don't get this achievement by this point, then there are plenty of levels which can help you get it.

The enemies in this level as well also like to use moves which can be countered as well. As with the previous achievement described above, if you don't get this by this level, then you can always get this achievement later on.

This is a story related achievement, and it cannot be missed. This achievement requires you to defeat LeBeau (The Gambit). You originally have to fight him multiple times in this level, but he will escape so you won't be able to beat him until later in the level.

Level 12: Jungle VI

Collectible 91: There will be an enemy you can lunge attack at, and then if you turn left and drop down you will see the collectible.

Collectible 92: After defeating a Leviathan and exploring a bit more in the level, you will come to a part which has a broken bridge area and behind you is a piece of wall you can shimmy along. Go ahead and then climb up to grab the collectible on the right side.

This is the last Jungle Level Area in the game. It is also a great place to finish off some achievements, as it contains loads of enemies and some are slightly strong. As said above the jungle is a perfect place to get environment kills on. So you should be able to get this achievement along the way since you only need 30 kills in total.

Chances are as you use the Feral Sense, you would have likely picked up kills whist it was activated. Since this level has a load of enemies, using the Feral Sense will make this level easier to beat, giving you the chance in getting this achievement quicker. If you don't get this achievement by this point, you still have some time before you finish the game to get it done.

This achievement requires you to lunge at a total of 250 enemies. You'll likely get this achievement earlier or at this point in the game.

This is a story related achievement, and it cannot be missed. You will get this achievement upon completing the level.

Level 13: Facility

Collectible 93: You are required to defeat a big group of enemies, and then a door will open. Go through this door and up the stairs to see the collectible.

Collectible 94: Not far from the previous collectible will be a caged like room with the collectible in an open gap you can access.

Classic Wolverine Figure 3: Run straight down the caged part where the previous collectible was and it should be in front of you.

Collectible 95: Cross through a metal bridge area and go through the door. The collectible will be on your right.

If you have managed to find all of the collectibles at this point, you should be given this achievement. Great Work! If you haven't found all of them and you've missed any, you'll need to go into the chapter selection in the main menu, and then find the collectibles which you have missed out. Remember that once you have found a collectible, it gets saved unless you select a new difficulty and start a new game.

This is a story related achievement, and it cannot be missed. To get this achievement, you must defeat Weapon 11 (Deadpool). The final boss in the game. Once you have defeated him, you will successfully complete the game on the difficulty you have chosen. Good job!

Step 2: Misc Achievements

OK, now that you have completed a full playthrough of the game, the next step your going to do is to collect any other misc achievements which you have missed. The most likely achievements your going to need to do more work on is getting the Reflexes and the Skill Points at the highest level. However there may be some other achievements which require you to go to one particular spot and keep on reloadingcheckpoints to get the achievement. Additionally there may be some other achievements which were described above in which you could get but missed them out. Regardless of whatever you've got, you'll need to go into the Chapter Selection in the main menu, choose Replay Chapter and select any level in which you need to get to a certain point where the achievements your going for can be easily accessible.

Here are the achievements I reckon will take you more than a playthrough to do...

One of the enemies you encounter in the game will be a ghost. Their ability is to make themselves invisible from you. When you grab these enemies, you can perform a quick time action in which you can shove their shotgun's in their face and blow them up! Since you have completed the game, Wolverine will be more stronger so this achievement will be made easier. You'll need to do this on 25 different ghost enemies to get this achievement. This achievement requires you to light 20 enemies on fire. The most likely levels in which you can find fire in which you can use to burn enemies is the jungles. There is however a little trick you can do in one of the levels, that contains a fire pit. Simply jump into the flames and then defeat an enemy whilst your burning. It should burn the enemy as well. This achievement requires you to kill 150 enemies whilst in Beserk Mode. Use the description above if you need to know how to activate this manoever again.

This will be the first power-up you will unlock in the game, but it requires you to kill 200 enemies with it. To use a claw spin simply hold the cn_RT button and then press the cn_X button. Eventually as you playthrough the game you'll get an ability which allows you to keep using this attack by rapidly pressing the cn_X button. The achievement will unlock once you have claimed your 200th Claw Spin kill.

For this achievement, you are required to maximize a group of Reflexes by killing a certain type of enemy. As you attack and kill them your character will become more stronger against them, and will eventually kill them in a single hit rather than a few. There are 4 types of enemies that belong to the Reflex...

Machetes

Machinegunners

Jungle Mutants

Robots

Some of the enemies will be easier to find and kill than others. Once you have reached Maximum Reflex for one of the classes, you'll get this achievement.

This achievement however requires you to reach Maximum Reflex on all of the classes. The best way into getting this achievement is to find an area in the game where the enemies appear most often and then once their killed, reload the previous checkpoint and keep on grinding. In some cases it might be an idea to perform another playthrough so that you know where the enemies will roughly appear so that you can grind it out.

Whilst you are working on the Samurai achievement, at the same time you will also be working on the Skill Points. Everytime you reach a new level after Level 5, you will earn 2 Skill Points. You will need a total of 69 Skill Points in order to get the achievement, and this roughly requires you to be around Level 39. It will take more than just a playthrough to get this achievement. Notice the cool Wolverine Pose portrayed by Hugh Jackman himself in this achievement picture?

Finally, for this step. One of the last achievements you'll likely get in this step, or if not before is for having a grand total of 2000 Kills in the game. This is across all your games and playthrough's you have done, and if you die anywhere your kills get stored, so nothing gets lost throughout the course of your game.

Step 3: Hard Playthrough

Warning: Before you start this step, you must make sure that you have all of the remaining achievements obtained in the game. This means you will need 49/50 Achievements with a total of 950G/1000G Gamerscore to continue. Starting this step earlier will result in you doing more playthrough's to finish the game completely.

This is the final step you need to do in the game. You now need to do a brand new playthrough on the Hardest Difficulty. Once you have started a New Game, anything which you have done in the previous 2 steps will be lost and reset. This includes Dog Tags, Reflexes, Skill Points and other unlocks in the game.

This playthrough will proof to be a challenge because your character will be much weaker than the enemies at the start of the game. Rather than taking one or two hits to kill a guard, it'll take a good few before you can slice them in pieces. So on most occasions, taking cover and picking off enemies will be the only way in which you can pass through the game easily.

This is not a playthrough you can rush on. You'll have to take your time and pick off enemies at the start of the game, before unleashing your claws near the end when your character should be more powerful. A handy tip is you can always backtrack by replaying earlier levels in order to raise your character to a stronger level if you get stuck. Just make sure you select replay chapter, rather than starting a new game.

You do not have to collect any Dog Tags on this playthrough, however you are recommended to grab some along your journey since they give you additional XP which can be used to boost your character. Grabbing other items such as Mutagens, Skill Points and Health Boosters will also make the game easier.

And then once you have completed the campaign on Hard Difficulty, you will unlock this achievement giving you all 50 Achievements worth 1000G Gamerscore! Congratulations! You are the Claw Master!

Conclusion

This is a game which you do not want to miss. Among all of the movie-tie in games I have played to date, I choose this one to be my favorite, because it contains features which not many other movie-tie in games actually surprise you with. This would mostly be the blood, gore and the brutal kills you can do in the game.

If you see this game in a bargain bin, I strongly recommend you pick it up! It's a game in which you'll enjoy and it won't leave you disappointed. I highly recommend this game to anyone who is looking for a movie-tie in game which is better than the movie itself, anyone who loves X-Men/Wolverine, or if your just looking for an easy 1000G game with all of the achievements offline.

I am honoured I've had the privilege to do the walkthrough for this game, and I hope this walkthrough has helped you, should you have the game or consider picking it up.

Good Luck and Have Fun fellow Wolverines!
