Getting Achievements, My Guide
Achievements have been a striving goal for me. I used to not really care, but then it turned to fun for me. And I think I somewhat know what is a good way to go.
Most games have three basic settings you can get at the start:
Easy, Normal, and Hard.
If your playing a game through for the first time, do it on Normal I learned this from Dues Ex. I tried it on hard my first play-through and got wiped out quick. So I toned it to Normal. Then on my second play-through, when I am more acquainted to the game, then I did my passive, then hard play-through.
Go big, or go home.
If a game has achievements like the ones listed above, there is absolutely no reason why you should do a campaign on easy. If you do it on normal, most of the time you can snag a few achievements.
Focus On One Game.
I usually focus on one game at a time. Due to the fact that every games controls are slightly different, and if you hop back and forth, you will not be at the top of your game.
