Game Achievement Concerns
It has been a long time between posts. Not much has happened in gaming that has deserved mentioning (that has not been posted everywhere else), until now. Over the past few weeks I have noted problems with games, so I thought I would share one of them.
Last month I played an interesting game called NERO developed by 'Storm in a Teacup'. It is a cute game with a slow-paced, forgettable story. My problem with the game is the achievements. One achievement in particular did not unlock for me. I completed the game and researched forums for possible solutions. "Denial" is posted on TA as buggy. Several people have unlocked it, but there are at least five gamers that it has glitched on. The issue is worsened when I emailed 'Storm in a Teacup' twice, but did not receive a response from either one. It is an inexpensive ($10) game, but I personally take exception with poor customer service and quality assurance within a game.
I am going to investigate the matter further. My only warning...if you care about game completion, avoid this game until it is fixed or a work-around has been found.
