To anyone considering playing BC Portal before it leaves GP, I highly recommend playing it on a PC. It is waaaay faster with a mouse and keyboard!
Any game that's playable on Windows I always do it that way. It is INSANE how much faster Forza loads on a computer than a Series X!
I wasn't even referring to the load times, but you're right about that. I was referring to how much easier it is to build bridges when you can just point and click.
Disgusting
Those easy games make you feel a bit hollow? A month or two ago I got 15K from 3 of those games, made me question why a bit after.

Definitely planning on buying less of them in the future. I've never been a huge "achievements are very important" type of player, but...
I disagree.
And don't let your friends talk to you this way. Unless you think they're right. But they're not
Lol - it’s all good Spiro. Thanks for defending me though. I bought a lot of the “TU” games over the years and decided to finally plow through some of them.
Max and I have been good friends for more than a decade and we’ve had many conversations over the years about the ridiculousness of playing for achievements.
I still like going on a GS binge every now and then, but there’s denying that the achievement meta-game isn’t what it used to be. The TU games are a prime example of it.
I still have 30-50k of TU games I could do, but I think I need a break. Playing so many in quick succession does feel hollow after a while as Earth wrote.
I figured that I bought them though, so I might as well play them to get them out of my backlog. For now, I have some GP games I want to get to before they leave.
So it may be a more “normal” month for me gaming wise.
While I think the TU games are games, I do think that they reduce any sense of accomplishment from hitting achievement related “milestones”.
But…I don’t care what other people want to spend their free time doing (although I can question it at times)…if it brings them any joy, then that’s great.
If hobbies don’t bring you joy, then you should find another hobby.
Well I wasn't insulting you Boots, or trying to, I was asking how you felt, as I've noticed how hollow I felt myself.
Obviously I know now Spirochaete feels, lol. He's seems to be the biggest easy achievement advocate on TA.
No worries - I didn't take it that way. I wouldn't say it made me feel hollow, but it did seem rather pointless. I'll play the rest of the TU games I own...
...but I don't think I'll be buying any more of them.
I'm sure it didn't helps that the three games I played as games were bad to meh. Bullet Beat, ReactorX and Dark Grim Mariupolis.
I've totally played both fun and easy games, but those even though they were very fast, felt like such a slog.
I played Bullet Beat recently, and I didn't mind it actually. I have ReactorX and DGM in my backlog though. I guess I shouldn't look forward to playing them. lol
The worst of all the TU games that I've played was Squad Killer. Absolutely no redeeming qualities (as a game).
Was this a free title update? TA says addon, which tends to mean paid addon, but it's not in the store to buy.
It’s paid DLC. It’s one of those stupid DLCs that you can only purchase in-game. Here in Canada, it was $7.49 YMMV.

As DLC though, it’s quite good. There’s often several ways to solve the puzzles and it’s interesting to see the variety of solutions.
There isn’t much on TA, but there are a lot of resources elsewhere, like Steam and YT. Even with solutions, you’ll have to tinker a bit.
OK, that explains why I've never seen that DLC on sale or anything like that. Had the base game for a while now.
I’d say the DLC is worth it if you’re considering it. Even if it’s not on sale, you can do a lot worse for $7.50.
Fun game. A few of the achievements didn't pop on the Series S, but they worked fine on my PC. I had to restart on the PC, but it's really quick once you figure it out.
Gratz!
Thanks!
Possibly the worst game I've ever played.
Yeah, this was real bad.
agree!
