For someone who has never played SR3, is it worth me giving the remastered version a go? I played 1 & 2, they were quite enjoyable.
It's not really much like those, it's a lot more comedic in a lot of ways and controls/shooting have been tweaked to be less like GTA and more like it's own thing. I

prefer it by quite a lot, but I didn't care for the first game at all
Cool - Thanks dude!
Completion #84 of 2020
Congrats. Ive had the trilogy in my backlog for about a year. Worried about chapter 1 40 mins speedrun cause I always get interrupted
I really enjoyed this trilogy, I liked the weird art style too. Remembered me of the monkey island games with the kind of jokes they would make
@oMike the speedrun is tight but its double as long as you know how to save time. also any game thats under an our isnt to bad cause you can just do another run afterward
You say that with your most recent game being AO Tennis 2
Say that again and lll show you that not all lives matter...
(Its a joke*)
one of my favourite acas..i like it
and if you know what to do very easy 20 min completion

Ya I’m lost lol
I don’t know why I struggle so much with these lol I should have researched first because the two magical drop games broke my ball too 🤦🏻♂️
Tips on 20 minute completion?
Few hours of story and 15 hours of collectables, survival, hitman and carjacking, 40 bucks for a straight port? Should be a 0,5 by your standards
$40 for this? Wow. Should be less than half that. Better than GTA IV though.

I'm playing this side by side with GTA IV, the difference is night and day. This was a game created to be enjoyed, not suffered through. I rented it anyway
Cars handle well, shooting is competent, the ridiculousness of the story fits well into the world, and it looks pretty good. Its above average
$40 isn't that bad for a port with effort put into it (Digital Foundry went in-depth on this). Mafia II is the one that got a straight port (actually worse in some ways).
Eh, I mean Saints IV Re-Elected is $20 and that had equal effort put into it as this game, so I also agree $40 is steep
SR4 wasn't always that cheap, probably also around the $40 mark as well when it released. It has had a price reduction at some point.
SR4 Re-Elected was one of the laziest remasters I've played. More or less just a straight port of the PC version.
SR3 Remastered is miles above with its new face models, textures, and lighting. That said, deep discount or renting is always my go to for any remaster.
