Bean Dive 2017 - A New Beginning
My favorite time of year has happened upon us again, Bean Dive 2017!!!

After failing my 75 game Bean Dive of 2016 I've come back with a vengeance with a comfy 92 games for this year.
Lets take a look at some stats:
Start / End Completion: 90.80% to 80.03%, down 10.77% total
Achievements Needed for Recovery: 1917
Total Games Dived: 92
I was short my 2016 recovery about 400+ achievements, so if I want to get back to my original start % I'm looking at around 2300 achievements. I've got my work cut out for me!
I've already been hard at work knocking one of the tougher games off of my list:
Maldita Castilla EX - Cursed CastileI have nothing but good things to say about this game, maybe I'm slightly in favor as this is what I grew up with. It recaptured my love for games of yesteryear. They took that and made a game that way soared above my expectations.
Retro inspired in every way! The music is amazing and sound effects spot on. The game play is smooth and precise. Now, the difficulty I'm sure will turn away most casual gamers, but its the kind of difficulty that is your fault. You learn from your mistakes and find patterns to get through the levels quickly and without death. The hard work and dedication put into this game though makes it one that needs to be experienced.
At only $12 base, its a steal. I believe I bought this on sale and was worth every penny.
Here is a short list of other games I'm looking forward to playing:
OXENFREEBattlefield 1Saturday Morning RPGStranger of Sword CityExile's EndSlain: Back from HellTrulon: The Shadow EngineTypoman: RevisedUnepicZombie Army TrilogyMiddle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of the Year EditionI'm not sure what I'm going to play next, might knock out a couple of the quick completions I have on the list, then go back into something more difficult.
To all my fellow divers out there, best of luck in your recovery. Lets conquer our completion percentages!
