Firstly, DresdenN7's guide is a blinder. Go use it. Makes achievements easy and the experience more enriching and comprehensive. Superbly written.
I thoroughly enjoyed this game and I think it deserves a lot of praise. It's unlike anything I've played. I love how unapologetic it is in its demand for your attention.

It's the closest thing to a novel I have ever played. Aside from it being text-heavy, it demands your attention. If you skip things, you will get confused.
Kentucky Route Zero feels like an mid-50's surrealist Americana novella.
It's 'artsy' snd gameplay light. That's just the sort of game it is. That never bothers me - if it bothers you, you won't like KRZ.
Inconsistently between acts frustrated me though. It added variety, and added to its surrealism which are both pluses. However, I felt pacing was all over the place.
I didn't actually enjoy Act I very much, I don't think it is a great introduction into the world (it improves once you "reach the house" though).
Acts II and III were wonderfully developed in comparison, Act IV then was a massive disappointment (seriously, such a s**t chapter). Act V was then my favourite.
Thinking out loud at this point. Overall KRZ succeeds in providing its own narrative under its own terms, though, and if you're into narrative games don't miss this one.
Hmm, this sounds interesting. I do like a good story driven game, so this will be going on the wish list. I'll wait for a sale though, like I do for most games over $10
Nice one. Enjoyed this game. Long...
Loved the first and this one.....not much fan of the third
See my last status from 10 mins ago. I've obviously done 2033 Redux, LL Redux and Exodus. Just seen this combined list I didn't know existed, which I'd prefer to 360!
Physical only, yes.

Thanks for this! May make it my 300th XB1 completion, on 283 and would be a cool milestone game.
I did this version (it's in my trophy case with the other stacks). Physical only, single disc.
I discovered the games through the Redux re-releases, if anyone's interested. It's now a top 3 series of all time for me (with Half-Life and BioShock). Insane immersion.
Go for it.

Funny, I actually just bought the Last Light 360 game + season pass the other week and started working on it last night (long overdue) -- Love the series as a whole. :)
Just made another status - I didn't realised a COMBINED list of 2033/LL Redux existed! I did them individually. Any idea whether its physical only?
You'd think I'd know this being a huge Metro fan...evidently not haha.
Unfortunately, yes, it's physical only. But if you find it for cheap I highly recommend grabbing it!
I'm glad someone loves them as much as me. So good! The combined list is a physical release.
It's such a good series. It's lore and immersion is so good, its truly a sum greater than all its parts. Dripping with atmosphere. Glad Exodus pushed the boat a bit.
Also, out of interest, what is your order guys? 2033 > Exodus > Last Light for me. However, I thought Last Light had the best DLC.
Last Light > 2033 > Exodus for me. Agree that it’s a great series. Hope they go back to more linear games after Exodus.
Last Light > Exodus > 2033 for me. I thought the Two Colonels DLC was the best :)
Interesting you guys prefer LL. Don't get me wrong, it's a 10/10 still, but I didn't enjoy the story as much as the other too. Two Colonels was fantastic..best DLC in yrs
two* (typing from phone haha). Metro 2033 is probably a top 5 game of all time for me, and Metro Exodus is a top 10/my generational runner up.
I thought LL was better paced. Interesting that you praise Exodus that much. I though it was a step down from its predecessors in both atmosphere and gameplay.
Dead City also left me with a bad taste. I couldn’t wait for the game to end at that point.
I'm happy to say that everything is on track and I should be able to submit the WT for review tonight ;)
Awesome stuff! How was it to write??

In some ways similar to the walkthrough I previously wrote for another point-and-click. There is a lot of cool trivia and meta stuff with Kentucky Route Zero.
So, the guide includes the most efficient way through the story and achievements. But I also added bits of trivia, tips for optional exploration, etc.
The hope is that the walkthrough can assist players who also really want to dive into the lore and atmosphere. Kinda like a "one size fits all" guide for any need.
Sounds like my kind of WT! Looking forward to it.
Re-loaded extremely quickly (well before game over screen) so if you're reading this best to play safe and if you get hit even once use a medkit - if you run out, re-load
Shouldn't be too bad - I died on the 1st (easiest) encounter because I didn't fully understand how the fight worked.
Decent DLC, although no where near as good as the first.
Have to do another run through on normal, Untouchable didn't pop. I technically "died" so I'm not too pissed. I thought I re-loaded quick enough, clearly not.
Okkkk.....so I just finished the Shadow of Tomb Raider.....and my God it's a frustrating game....don't get me wrong the game is beautiful and fun to play well in a way...
(Also I've been playing a touch more PS4 as I neglected my PS4 big time in 2019).
I finished up a couple exclusives recently like Spider-Man and Horizon Zero Dawn, but other than that I only touch my PS4 for 12 Days of Christmas, Leapfrog, etc.
Yeh its an exclusive system for me. Stacked Madden 20 and am currently playing Dreams (which is wicked).
I'll be doing my playthrough tomorrow. Was also just waiting on the collectible guides to pop up.
Zombie Army 4 is occupying me at the moment, but I'm really looking forward to this. I'll keep notes about the collectibles and try to make a guide...
are collectible guides really necessary for something that's a couple/multiple hours long? and does ZAT 4 run better than 28 FPS?

Yeah, you'll run right past a lot of stuff, so a guide is helpful. I dunno the answer to your framerate question...
The videos I watched had bad framerate issues so I thought you would have something to say about that,
Haven't had any framerate issues myself... How old were the vids you watched?
