Always Looking Forward!
Hello! This is mainly directed to my friends but anyone is welcome to read this. For those who don't know me I am Grady. Nick name is Gtech. A lot of people always ask me about my tag and well Gtech started when I was about 14 years old. I was obsessed with Tech N9ne. I have been to over 30 of his concerts and try to go every year when I can. I added apocalypse to it because when I was younger I would be very competitive and usually did very well in competitive competitions. I am a very proud father of two beautiful children Bradley (boy curently 7) and Ivy (girl currently 4). So why am I writing this? Well the last 2 years of my life were a living hell and honestly without gaming and my family, friends, and xbox friends I dont know if I could have pulled through these years. I went through a very painful divorce and the job I took pride in, worked my ass to the bone, and many many years of dedication wronged me in a very bad way resulting in a very bad knee for a long time. Both were very heavysum on my emotions. I didn't want to do anything. It was devastating wanting to spend time with my kids and run around and play with them and just having to sit and watch wishing I could chase them and pick them up. My family really helped me and my kids getting through these tough times. My real friends were always there by my side to encourage me, take care of me, and be there to help me through the tough times. As I previous said gaming also helped me push through this as well. I met SOOOOOOOOO many great people through xbox that I am thankful to have met and spend time with knowing them. Jokes, serious conversations, long grinds, tough achievements to topple over. There are a few shout outs I want to mention. I am sorry if I cant shout out everyone but I dont want this to drag out as a novel.
Stump- Your like my brother man always been here through thick and thin. We have had ups and downs and it will never matter how far away you are I will always be there for you as you are for me.
Muffin- Man you are always cracking me up. I always appreciate all the texts with info on stuff I miss and all the help you give me when I need it. One of my longest TA friends thats for sure lol.
Octo- My favorite person thats over seas hands down. Without your help there are some games I would still be grinding a way at. Plus every chance I can input a Disney joke or pun its worth hearing "oh nooooooo make him stop!!!!!"
My other shout outs I will name out in groups.
My old school TA friends thank you for still keeping me as a friend and random messages here in there its always good to hear from you guys!
My overseas buddies I gamed with during this tough time. GamesMaster, GSR, Jamal, Ssippie, ACrocketman and Holyhalfdead.
My friends in the USA that I am always chatting with. Rennagade, Zach, Munkey, Hungry, Scott, Tackle, Thunder, Lythiris, and Ibar.
I have gamed so much these last two years and honestly I can remember a conversation with all of you that is a good memory that I will never forget.
I am doing 1000 times better than honestly I thought I ever could be. I am almost 100% on my knee and can actually start running here in two weeks! After the injury I didn't think I would be able to do it again. I got offered a great job opportunity today and will be finalizing the paper work next week and should begin the following week. Throughout this whole experience I feel like I have grown. It has been a huge eye opener to realize light will come to get rid of the darkness and you just have to keep fighting and things will get better. So with that being said I want to say thank all of you guys for all the great times and look forward to many more with all of you!
Sincerely
GTECH!!!!!
