The worst feeling a gamer can get
A friend of mine let me borrow Dragon Age 2 back in 2011 and when I initially got it I played a little and forgot I had it. I recently decided I wasn't going to buy any new games until I cleared out my backlog (which is pretty hefty if I count downloaded games). So a few weeks ago I booted up Dragon Age 2 so I could give it back to said friend and while I was playing it my Xbox started making lots of loud noises and went to a black screen with an error code that basically said my harddrive had failed. I was afraid to play my 360 because of what happened so I deleted a lot of things off the harddrive to make room so the same thing wouldn't happen again. Today when I booted up Dragon Age 2 I got a message saying "the save file seems to be damaged and could not be loaded". This is the absolute worst feeling a gamer could get. The same thing happened when I played BioShock 1 and Fallout: New Vegas. I went back and finished those games but I just can't bring myself to start DA2 over again for the third time. It kills me because I really liked Hawke and his story and I really wanted to give DA another chance considering how I have a burning hatred for the first game. DA2 had a lot of things going for it but when I have to start over it really makes me not want to play the game anymore.
I'm assuming this has happened to everyone at at least some point and to anyone that reads this id like to hear what games it happened to you on and if you decided to start over or not. This is the third game this had happened to me on and it really is just an awful feeling.
