Stuntfest will apparently be the sequel/follow-on from Wreckfest. Hope so. Wreckfest is class. Official announcement on or before Aug 12th?
Can't avoid Blighttown forever!
Wtf is abysswalking. The no hint policy about what items do puts me off a little. Humanity...wut? I'm just running everywhere collecting stuff. And do nothing w/ it

Abysswalking will make sense in time. I think they make it clear. It's hard to separate what I found out the first playing and what I know now after playing it 10x.
That's why I commented, because beating Sif before ringing both the bells is really... uncommon? I mean the game allows you to do it, but it's not the regular path.
Which is weird, I MUST know what something does. The stats...I understand nothing. Still very much like the game, just have to learn everything.
Pretty sure you can open up the menu and hit select (or whatever the fuck that button is now called) and it'll explain what each stat does. It's daunting the first time.
There's a regular path?😅 tbh I took the Walkthrough to at least decide where to go next. The connectivity of the world map is genius! I also got me the gravelord sword.
Regular may be a simplified way of putting it. But the game sort of directs (lol) you to ring the two bells first, then there's an obvious way forward after doing that...

And the map is so brilliant and unfortunately it's never really replicated in the series again. Or at least not to that intricate a degree.
I have so many questions...but the most important, can I just do what I want and take everything into NG+? Don't want to handle weapon/ sorcery checklists by now haha.
Yep! The game to complete takes 2.5 playthroughs to 1000. Mostly because you need multiples of certain boss souls. The only thing that doesn't carry over to a NG+ are ...
I also for some reason attacked a merchant when my controller disconnected (in the depths) and he's still hostile. One mistake and you're fckd for the playthrough
Key items like the Ring of Artorias or any keys.
Play it the first time through how you like, then look at a guide and marvel at how much you missed/what sidequests you failed by virtue of random timing and shit.
Re: the merchant. Yeah. They sort of fix that with the sequels (Somewhat, some npcs you can resurrect in DS2 for instance). Luckily he's not really important.
Thx for all the info! Yeah I'm just running through it clueless. I don't even know how to cast spells lol (like reduced fall dmg), it's just greyed out. Humanity is a...
