Hades is my favorite game I have played since Sekiro. Great combo of difficulty and reward.
The loss of a good/loved dog is not something I'd wish on anyone.

Bad hips. Vet coming to our house thurs morn.
I am sorry to hear about your loss! I can't imagine how you are feeling.
So sorry about this, we're still not over the loss of our dog yet, and it's been almost 6 weeks. It's really tough, cherish the time you do have.
Really sorry brother. Nothing worse
Awful thing to go through. Stay strong mate.
I’m so sorry to hear this man :(
So sorry!!!!! We lost our first dog a couple years ago and it still hurts my wife and I
So sorry to hear!
I lost my 9 year old dog(son) earlier this year on Valentine day. Still can’t cope up. I know how this feels.
Really enjoyed the main game but this dlc's last few levels are so finicky it was just a headache
So this is it. This is what I've become. Pre-ordered...
I get it. I've been really tempted to pre-order one too... I just wish they were slightly larger.

Yeah, that's what I heard. I almost pre-ordered it day one then I mapped out the dimensions. They're too small. They are basically just a novelty item at that size.
Well it is a mini-fridge after all
Overall, I really liked the new Far Cry (of course, it's me). The gameplay is a vast improvement, smooth gunplay and the bases require more tactical play.
Liked the treasure hunt activities, and the supremos were a really cool new addition.

On the downside, I just didn't like the story very much. It was okay, not bad, but Anton is one-dimensional and nothing really develops like with Pagan Mind/Joseph Seed
Some stuff happens at the end, but it doesn't feel poignant because his character doesn't develop along with your actions in the game like in 4 and 5.
The side characters are insanely unmemorable, especially the sub-bosses. The Seed siblings, and some of 4's side-bosses, were pretty noticable. Not in 6. Terrible.
So I'm conflicted. World of Yara is amazing, and I love the gameplay - best in the series. Dani Rojas (female, at least) is well played, and Anton/Diego are acted well.
However, I didn't like the writing at all, story was a big step back, and as the more narrative-heavy Ubisoft series, this was a shame.
Good, not great game that does more right than wrong, but doesn't move the GOTY needle for me.
Always enjoy your game summaries man. Out of interest, what is your GOTY at the moment?
Psychonauts 2, followed by Resident Evil Village and Deathloop. That’s saying a lot, because I loved Village and RE7 and 2 RM were my GOTY both years. Hby?
Cool, I've not played those, though Psychonauts 2 is on my list and will check out Deathloop when it comes to Xbox (I don't have a PS). I'm a bit weird as...
...for whatever reason I don't tend to play 'new' games as they release as I tend to work through my backlog. Doesn't really count but the Outer Wilds expansion is...
...just amazing, building on a masterpiece of a base game, so i'd go with that :-)
I'm starting Outer Wilds DLC this week, so I'm very excited for that. Hope the achievements aren't too bad!
Awesome. There are some really good videos out there for the achievements. The only one that was slightly challenging for me was the Tubular achievement but found a....
...really helpful video for that - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AhUI6RbSX1g
Yeah, that Tubular achievement was the one bad thing about the DLC. I'd rather dock with the Sun Station again.
Some madman spedrun all the DLC achievements in 30 mins on YT haha. Thanks guys, going to start it this week and will find some videos to help.
