Think there's only one day left
^ Correct. Hopefully, on this next change tonight/tomorrow there's a Crimson guardian pack available.
Snake, snake, snake, snake!
My idea if the managers approve it is to leave the existing pages as-is (minus removing the laso page) and have these detailed pages text free at the end for those that
Prefer the detailed text approach with a minimum of imbedded videos for faster loading.

The best feedback would be if someone can play those 3 missions and follow the text, especially a Halo novice.
Looks amazing so far. Major kudos.
If I'm gonna redo TMCC, I want to make it the best it can be for folks.

If you're using a lot of videos per page, make sure to put them in spoiler tags so that the page loads fine.
Embedded. Who's internet connection struggles to load these days? To make it the best it can be, embedded. And if people need to wait a minute, I'm sure they'd rather
Tons of people's internet struggles to load a large number of videos at once. Might as well spoiler tag it for them, it's not hurting anyone.
I do prefer embedded videos though.
I was told a while back that spoiler tags dont reduce loading time because the video still 'loads' behind them. Not sure if that's true.
I don't know either, that would make sense though. I've never noticed any loading times opening a spoiler tag.
Not every person that loads up your walkthrough is going to use the videos, no reason to bombard them with videos that can simply be clicked on.
A spoiler tag will solve that problem without having to open any new tabs or windows.
How about just adding an additional page for video walkthrough that way people can do the reading.. and those that want to watch can just load up that page instead.
These arent video walkthroughs, they are videos for collectibles and miscellaneous achievements. I have just put imbedded links to speedrun and LASO playlists as
Imbedding 50 videos more or less for the speedruns/laso runs would be silly.
On a side note I got the first 3 levels of CE written tonight and its 6000 words just for those three levels. Walkthrough is going to be long as fuck.
Hopefully those that preferred the more trimmed-down version already finished all or most of it lol.
As long as it's not too many embedded videos on a single page, it's fine. The problem is when people put 20+ embed videos in a row
I'd prefer text only cuz of my internet
I realize my feed is friends only, but there are almost 500 of you. If you have used it, please say Yes or No to the above question.
No grudges will be held and you have my word there are no hard feelings. I would love to be proven wrong.

No, that would add unnecessary bloat to the guide. These aren't complex games unless you're doing a LASO or speed run, which you have covered. Maybe some legendary tips
for each level would suffice, but I don't see why anyone needs a step by step walkthrough just to complete the levels.
Because that is the standards these days, it's meant to cater to all players, new, veteran, casual and people like us. The current state does not do that.
We dont need back and forth discussion. All im looking for is a bunch of yesses or nos.
I just want to know how to get the achievements...a video would be better for the speed runs
No from me.
Maybe for the Halo 2 speed run. Honestly to afraid to try it though
I'd say yes only if it was to help people cut time down; just an average playthrough on normal then no.
Speedrun tips for specific levels would be an awesome addition.
People SHOULDN'T need step-by-step instructions for Halo games. But TA standards REQUIRE comprehensiveness. Personally, no. Professionally, yes.
No. At that point, it would probably take longer to just read the guide for each lvl then to actually complete the lvl itself even for someone who has never played b4
Can never be too thorough. Yes from me. People don't have to read the pages if they don't want.
If there are collectibles, yes. Halo levels tend to be very linear, and only need general comments. Speedruns should have tips and a video.
The guide is fine the way it is so thats a no from me.
No, not necessary
I'd say no. I wanna believe that a majority of the people who have purchased Halo: TMCC have played the games before.
No, except maybe for 1 and 2 speedruns
If it didn't clog up the guide for people who don't need it, yes, more is better. Someone will find it useful. Is it worth your time? No, almost certainly not.
I'm going to go with no.
I can't believe some people on that thread need a step by step walkthrough for Halo 1-5, the only potentially confusing game in that series was ODST
I still can't get that POS flip yap achievement! It's the bane of my existence!
No other than the speed runs
Well Im re writing it anyway because I will be damned if I have my ownership of it taken away after someone else adds unnecessary bulk
My step by step will be speedrun-focused (as impossible as that is really... a video is worth 10,000 words when it comes to speedruns)
The 'regular' achievememts will keep their current format more or less, and will be placed before or after the speedrun-centric guide.
Your guide were really helpful as it is when I began Halo MCC achievements grind. Just saying. Thanks
I don't think anyone could do better
I understand the reasoning behind the current push for more detailed WTs. If MCC had been four brand new games I probably would have done that from the get-go
As it is I felt like a re release compilation of years (and in two cases a decade or more) old games need not be bogged down by a detailed WT
My original intent was a guide where someone could, at a glance, see what they needed to do in each level to nab that specific level's achievements and collectibles.
But if even one in ten WT users needs a more detailed guide theough each game then so be it. I am only doing it myself because I dont think it is fair to even have the
POSSIBILITY of my ownership of the WT taken away just because someone adds a step by step for each level. To be honest that is the easy part.
Organizing it and recording/editing proper videos for all the miscellaneous level-specific achievements so that it has a uniform, clean look and order was the hard part
I am two levels down, many to go in my re write.
Anyway, the only things i'm not sure I'll ever be able do to in this collection are H1 and 2 speedruns as is it almost just possible in one player to the contrary of the
Others, and that is something you can't explain with words. All the others stuffs is perfect!
My first use of beam, will see how it goes.
Are you still making 100% achievement walkthrough videos?

Ill give you a follow
I pre-ordered the game, looks very good. Beautiful colors, nice music... My type or RPG
My type of RPG*
It does look really beautiful.
definitely going to pick this up!
Its a fun game for sure. Re videos: I ont really make videos these days, but Im writing the wonder boy wt so I might make videos for that
Not to say that FH2 isn't a great game.

The road trips system is the worst idea I've ever seen in an open world racing game. Having to repeat the same races over and over again didn't help matters either.
I'd argue FH1 was a more enjoyable experience than 2, but FH3 is far superior than both. I really need to get playing it a bit more.
Yeah I'll agree that the road trip thing was kinda shitty. I mean it would have been ok for the first 15 or so championships before you unlocked the Horizon Champion but
the fact that you have to continue to do meaningless road trips after everyone is dumb. Should have just given the ability to fast travel between championships like you
can between each individual championship race.
I can't believe OVER 3,000! people have done all168 championships I got bored going for 100. Maybe I'll try doing one or two a day and slowly get there.
I'm going to be getting this next month when I have a bit of a break; how many hours should I except w/ DLC? 80? More? Thanks to anyone who answers.
FH2 probably 150 hours lol. 120 for sure. FH3 you could get all 1500gs in about 60-80 hours if youre efficient.
And yeah FH2 is great, its just the tedious road trips and the lack of being able to customize the championships like you can in 3 that tarnishes it.
its like having a big dick and then not
big dick and can't go balls deep #feelsbadman :D
And boy are my arms tired!
Good man. A nice time in life where everything comes together by the sounds of things. Enjoy.
Gonna have me a sit out on the back porch tonight while the nights are still chilly, drink some JW Blue Label, and zone out from the world. Thanks mate :)
Ug the cable main was never run. 2 days to 2 weeks or more before we will have proper internet. Guess it couldnt all go perfect lol.
Will try phone as a wifi hotspot but not super hopeful.
JW Blue tho
Its sooooo good! Been saving the last couple glasses from this bottle for a while now in anticipation of the house
I commend you for your exquisite taste
I going to have to find some of this JW Blue. Going to have a look now see if i can get it in the UK.
You can, i will be adding that to this weeks shopping.
Its amazing. If you drink it just lightly chilled or with whisky stones so it doesnt get watered down, you can taste so many layers of dif things its unreal
Snobs would call them "notes" of this and that but I cant pretend to be that pretentious
When I use to drink the harder stuff (before kids) I always had a bottle of blue around... either that or Macallan 18... Macallan 21 for for special occasions!
Is it? I wish the same of the Dark Souls knock off from a while back. Just always hoping for a sale.
Uh. Not any GwG games that I can think of even included the DLC with them, dunno why that's a shock. Your loss, it's actually a good game.

Don't understand this mentality. You're still getting the free base game, which was ok. For free. People always want more.
Just like devs always want more. More money for base games, more dlc, more micro transactions more bullshit.
Borderlands did include the DLC
Still worth it. Just buy the dlc and support the dev
Good game so far, having fun with it. DLC will probably go on sale as most GWG have had the DLC on sale at some point
Shocking was sarcasm. Im not surprised. Dont feel the need to "support the dev" for a game I was never interested in. Was only considering playing if it was 100% free.
Its not that I "always want more" either. Its that gwg habitually chooses titles that have DLC, which seems pre meditated to me.
I would agree with you on the DLC. Pretty much all of them have some type of DLC to make some money off of the game
Most games do have DLC now if they're a big release. At the time this was.
So roughly 235 races to go lol.
At least it's not like FH2
For zome reason one achievement says it is unlocked on my dash oard but it isnt on xbox.com. it isnt done unlocking either.
Hope i dont have to recover tag and do it again.
My last xp point sign glitched out. It shows on the map that it's there but when I go to that spot, it isn't there
^^ You may be referring to the one which is underground. You have to go to the side of location to find the entrance to the underground train tracks to get to it.
How long does it take to fully complete it with the DLC?
@LE, I had that happen before. I believe I hard reset my Xbox and then went back into the game and it popped. Don't think I had to redo the requirements iirc.
Thank you swyer I'll take a look at it. I had no idea it would've been under ground thank you (didn't even know there was an underground hah)
^^^it took me roughly 120 hours total to complete this game with the blizzard mountain dlc... luckily I love the game so it didn't seem like much of a grind actually
I'm at 1355/1500 with about 50 hours time played if tracker is right, but a good deal of that was afk/idle watching netflix. I think the full 1500 could be done
Under 100 hours if one were efficient.
Can't forget about Yooka Laylee! Also Snake Pass this week!
Tbh yooka laylee just doesnt do it for me. Not sure what it is, cant put my finger on it, but it just doesnt excite me.
Feeling a hankering for side scrollers and rpgs of late.
I hadn't heard about this yet, thanks for sharing. Keep remasters of this era coming.
I agree. Game looks fantastic in remastered mode
Thx mate :)

I am never going to finish this game, congrats
Thanks everyone :), may not have much drive for easy games/quick points lately, but I'm trying to keep after the ones I've started lol
Btw smrnov my offer still stands if u ever want help getting your char geared out
My hold up is the frost resistance... the blood. My gear score is up to 3400ish.
Get the boots from doing HEs in Bryn Shander. I can give you two greater resist armor kits to out on your shirt and pants
Thats 10% from.the armor kits. Another 10% from a potion, and I think 6 or 8% from the boots. U can buy the helmet off the tradehouse
That will get u high enough to do fangbreaker, where u can get a couple more pieces of gear to run sva/msva
Also if youre farming voninblood, get a remorhaz companion and the trowel (extra relic chance and higher quality relics respectively)
With the boots and the remorhaz, you could get up to 3 relics each time you dig one up in bryn shander.
"that will get u high enough" (lmao in a beavis and butthead manner) :)
Is that how his name is spelled? Seems off... lol

Add Twobby, he might be looking to do them.
I just kept listing cars for min buyout and they sold.
