First blog: Shotgun Impressions of Recent Games
Figured I might as well write a blog about some of the games this UHH competition has me getting to. Too many sales compiled with a mix of laziness and time issues have a lot of games collecting dust. With UHH 2 at least I know a little bit of what I'm getting into. Bunch of games I've started summarized in a few sentences.
The Deer God: looks as boring as I thoughtful would be. Indie platformer with pixel graphics, true beacon of originality.
Kameo: Elements of Power: Decent action platformer that has aged well. Controls were a bit odd though, stiff during some transformation. Not Rare's best but far away from their worst.
Might and Magic Clash of Heroes: Nowhere close to what I expected. Weird puzzle strategy hybrid. Odd GWG choice.
Prototype 2: As mediocre as the first game, now with a minority.
Duke Nukem Forever: Not as bad as everyone said it was, just make your own custom metal soundtrack.
Splinter Cell Double Agent: First time playing the 6th gen versions. Very early on but it plays really well. One of the better stealth games on the 360.
Stranglehold: Has aged like Madonna in terms of graphics but the gunplay is fluid.
Two Worlds: It's Oblivion on steroids is a quote on the box. That person needs to be fired out of a cannon into the sun.
Sniper Ghost Warrior: The game doesn't know if it wants to be a good 3rd person stealth game like sniper elite or that one mission In COD 4. Mandatory for anyone who loves military jargon
I'll do another one of these later. Too many to list off in one blog.
