What are achievements to you? ( My story) Part 1
Hi for those of you who don't know me I'm Ryan but I go by Rob on Xbox. For the past 6 years Iv been grinding achievements some I enjoyed getting, others not so much. Lately starting around the end of August I dipped away from achievements, it was right after I got Agents of Mayhem, I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought and me playing that had me thinking so I took a little step away from gaming/achievements and just binged watched movies/Tv shows on Netflix. After about a week or so I was occasionally playing Gears 4 and Cod MWR. I started getting the love of gaming back just playing what I want without having to worry about achievements, yes I have my goals and I do intend to still go for them but at a much slower rate. As time progressed I was steadily play MWR and getting my feel for gaming back but not achievements. Then my Birthday came around and my awesome girlfriend got me a badass turtle beach headset ( which I use a lot and take care of) got me wanting to play even more. Same day as my birthday Fortnite BR came out and I was siked to play. As I played it have me the feeling I never had before which was me enjoying games and me playing what I want to play instead of going for achievements. Yes, achievements are fun but I found fun in a different way. For the first time in 6 years gaming was more than just going for all the achievements I got the enjoyment back. I did decide myself that with certain games I will go for all of the achievements. For example, WWE 2k18 which I just picked up, Cod WW2, and much more, even games Iv started but it's going to be games I enjoy.
Thank you to everyone who reads this.
