One fourth of the year has gone by already, and I have a goal to hit 100,000 Gamerscore by the end of the year. I was a little shy of 30,000 to hit it going into the beginning of the year. The first month of the year I didn't do much toward the goal I got a lousy 13 achievements for a total of 305 Gamerscore. The month of February I picked up some steam and gained a total of 250 achievements for a total of 3,865 Gamerscore. The month of March I didn't do to bad with gaining another 163 achievements for a total of 2,965 Gamerscore. So for the first quarter of the year I gained 426 achievements for a total Gamerscore of 7,135, which puts my goal to 100,000 at 23.2% done.
As of today I'm 1.8% behind where I should be for my goal to hit 100,000 Gamerscore. I'm having a rough time with this goal because I want to play games I enjoy. I know I could easily get to the goal if I played crap games, but I don't have it in me to do it. I'm embarrassed that I have Avatar on my card.
My other goal is to get my game completion percent to 60% by the end of the year. I'm almost at 50% and it wasn't till I joined TrueAchievements a little less than a year ago that I even cared about completion percent. My goal was always to get at least one achievement in every game that I played. Now I wish I could of gone back and told myself to not do that because of those unattainable achievements in older games. So recently I have been trying to go back to games that I start and knock out some achievements to help with my game completion percent, but it is a slow process. Hopefully I can start some games that I have had for a while, but haven't played yet. I'm stuck at the moment where nothing sounds good to play, and so my gaming has taken a dip down the last few weeks.
