Years ago when I had more time to be gaming, I did two blog posts in this blog regarding my Top Ten games. After rediscovering those entries today, I have decided to post the update I promised I would way back in April 2011...

I referenced in that last Top Ten post that my buddy ZR122 posted about being embarrassed that his TA Top Ten back then included Iron Man. I reflected on that today as I saw my new Top Ten in 2014 and I am happy to say there aren't any games I feel embarrassed about being on there.

Since 2011 I have managed to have 5 new games on the list. And some of my favorite gaming experiences have remained as well. You Don't Know Jack was a time eater, but a ton of fun. Gears of War 2 and Halo Reach I completed this year after long hiatuses and I am so happy and proud I did. The completion I have on Soul Calibur IV is still a crowning achievement, as tenacity payed off and proved to be the key to my success. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is still one of my favorite videogames of all time and Quantum of Solace, still hanging in the Top Ten in that last slot, gave me a real sense of accomplishment to finish, even though I had to endure hours and hours of less-than-exciting online games.

The only games on this list I feel less than enthusiastic about being here are my top game - Game Room - and The Force Unleashed II. The latter was not as challenging as the original, nor as fun to play. I was eager to play it when we first heard about the unexpected sequel but once I got my hands on it I quickly wished more care went into what we received as the final result. Not a terrible game, but not all that great a gaming experience to be part of my Top Ten. The ratios in Game Room are so far gone it is a joke. While I have been known to spend hours in Game Room when I had medals to achieve, right now I am going to need to drop another $20 and spend many many more hours to get the medals to level up to the next achievements. And that is something I don't see myself doing anytime in the near future. Game Room is likely to be in the 1 slot for good, even if i play 50 more games to completion.

This Top Ten is based on the TA score that this site provides for the achievements. This is not my personal Top Ten list of 360 games. While I have not been playing as much in these past two years, and as of this post purchased an XBOX ONE yet because I just cannot justify the cost for the amount of use it will get, I still enjoy gaming and really enjoy popping those achievements. I am already looking forward to playing another game to the point where it will crack this Top Ten

Without further ado, here are Sticky Stalwart's Top Ten Games, according to True Achievements, as of September 16, 2014:
