Special 100,000 gamerscore blog edition
I finally cracked 100,000 gamerscore. I got two achievements at the same time on Red Dead Redemption, so I'm not sure which one to commemorate. I'll just take my pick and use the "People are still strange" achievement. That sounds like a very good one to tack to the milestone. To be honest, I probably should have waited for Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC to come out on the 360, or another Mass Effect game for the achievement, given my huge fanboy status for those two games. However, now I feel like I can walk away from hunting gamerscore for a short hiatus.
That kind of brings me to updating my life status. I'm really thankful for this blog, as it has given me a recorded list of events in my life since I started it. I'm now in the final months of my contract in Athens. Naturally, that means I met someone I am quite fond of. I have an interview for a job in Crete on Monday at noon (wish me luck). Other job prospects have dried up, so I'm hopeful about this one. There are no permanent jobs available that I'm qualified for, so I'm looking at temporary (2 or so years) jobs in various places. Life, huh?
Gaming life will include getting some multiplayer achievements in Red Dead -- I still have a long way to go with that! If there's any interest, let me know!
