Wow, nice dude
Really good. Because it has a 76 on MC I think people have been quick to judge, but this is a very decent game.
Without overthinking it TCP is basically Dead Space 4. I loved the visceral combat found the "get out" narrative simple and effective.

Visually this game is truly special and one of the best looking games in history. Visual design is focused, a blend of the recent Scorn and Alien Isolation.
There are gripes I have. Firstly re-using enemy variants and bosses is a huge flaw of this game. You fight one boss 4 times in the last 2 hours.
Secondly, I found some character development a bit off. Enemies to friends, changes or heart,
Finally cliffhanger ending is never great Still overall very impressed and I liked it a lot, very glad this exists if not perfect.
(Writing this mini review at 2am so apologies for any typos or incoherence lol)
This game is mostly excellent. Its puzzles are very well designed and feel fresh due to constant yet intuitive new mechanics.
This is extraordinarily impressive for a single-person development studio, incredible work. There are flaws (which I'll come to now) but this was a top-10 game this year.

I though the world design was mostly great, the puzzling between puzzle rooms constantly evolutionary, and Astra was a lovely companion.
This game's main flaw? Combat. It's introduced around Act 7 and it comes in and out for the duration. It's very annoying, as sometimes its interwoven whilst you puzzle.
In a lockdown, infinite respawn style. Fortunately, it peaks mid game and only happens sporadically towards the conclusion.
Whilst I absolutely love Portal - its one of my favourite games ever - I do wish it was a bit more unique. The actually story itself seperates itself from its influences
...more than enough. The aesthetic? It's pretty bloody close. Still, a slight criticism on an otherwise wonderful game.
Finally, story is actually somewhat decent, if not groundbreaking. More than just an excuse to play the puzzles, for sure. An absolute must for Portal fans.
One cheevo thing of note. One of the 76 collectibles is technically bugged, but you can glitch into it. It's collectible 19. Finicky, but 1K IS obtainable. See solution.
