Update: Microsoft reverses Xbox Live Gold price hike, free-to-play games do not need Gold
Is the online still up ?
All of the game's online multiplayer is per-to-per networking, so it cannot get shut down. In short, it will continue to work for the foreseeable future.

Unless Microsoft takes down the Xbox Live service in general on Xbox 360 which I don't see happening, all games with only per-to-per networking should also work.
This is why you can still play online multiplayer/co-op in old Xbox 360 launch titles, such as:
Kameo: Elements of Power and Perfect Dark Zero
... that is if anyone actually still plays them online. The online co-op/multiplayer in older Xbox 360 titles are usually dead due to lack of players.
Also, I need 4 players to make the online a bit easier. The bots just ruin it and make it harder when I only have 2 players in the match.
Leaderboards are fixed once more.

All achievements are obtainable now?
On BF 1943. Keep getting an error “The game appears to be unavailable, please try again”
That's gonna be a nice completion.
It took me a month to complete it

Wordament Snap Attack (iOS) - Made me never wanna play this shit again.
A sad day indeed.
holy moses, my heart just skept a bit, I thought it was the servers closure date that changed from december 31st to february 9th. Very sad news though :(
No, no. 343 Industries is STILL shutting down Halo 360 servers by December 2021, however, Bungie is just closing the https://halo.bungie.net/ website by 9 February 2021.
Bungie's Halo site will go offline permanently in February
That is a link to a post I made on the article about the confusion. See https://aka.ms/Halo360 for updated information in regards to Halo 360 servers.
Yes I read everything and I understood, it was the headline that scared me at first without reading the article lol.
does this only play with Kinect?
you can play it with only the controller

aww, nice thanks for the info :)
On an Xbox One console, you can play the entire game and unlock all achievements using EITHER a controller OR a Kinect sensor.
If you are playing on an Xbox Series X|S console, then you'll still be able to play the entire game and unlock all achievements with a controller only.
https://www.trueachievements.com/kinect-enabled/games = Games that support the Kinect sensor but do not require it to be able to play the game.*
* However, some Kinect enabled games might have 1 or more Partly Discontinued/Unobtainable achievements that do require it just for that achievement.
* Also, some features won't work in Kinect Enabled games without a Kinect sensor attached. Typically this doesn't affect achievements in most of these games.
Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary (Xbox 360; BC) is a prime example. Achievements are not affected. Video example: https://youtu.be/JUqovffSRPQ
Note: Backward compatible Xbox 360 Kinect Enabled games will not support the Xbox One Kinect. They must be played on an Xbox 360 with Kinect to use Kinect features.
I see you have begun your search for D. https://youtu.be/683JTITrMds
Keep it going.
Congrats. Just got to 71% yesterday, wasn't a completionist at all when the 360 came out, but trying to do better. Need 208 more to get up to 72%, so not happening! LOL
I get my last achievement early next month... 12 bronze medals
That's because all the BC 360 games show up on the X1 list
