February Wrap Up & March Goals
Well, the second month of the year is officially in the books on my 2018 Goal: "The Year of the Backlog", and I still haven't started a game! It was definitely a slow month for me as I only logged 16 days of gaming. I planned on finishing Call of Duty 2 and NERO this month, but never got around to it as I was extremely busy over the last few weeks. Either way, here are the stats for February:
Achievements Won: 76 across 19 different games.
Increase in Completion Percentage: +0.30% (8 achievements were also added to backlog for new DLC in Battle Ages, SMITE and Gems of War)
Games Completed: 2
Thomas Was Alone - February 5th
Beyond Good & Evil HD - February 17th
In keeping with my plan, I took two games off of my Z2Z list and fully completed them. While this isn't the point of the RTDL, I am enjoying gaming much more by playing games and not just jumping from game to game. My RTDL pumped out some great games this month (due to a carefully modified list for it to select from) and here are the titles I am going after (and their corresponding achievements from the list:Tomb Raider - Definitive Edition
- I actually "bean dived" this game by getting the multiplayer out of the way. I need to grind out a few more levels to 60 and buy the rest of the upgrades/characters. After which, I will dive into the story. With how frustrating COD2 has been, I could use a relaxed play through on easy...Army of TWO: The Devil's Cartel
- I had played through a decent amount of this game in January while working on my RTDL. For some reason, the achievement generator likes this game. It's definitely an easy shooter and I don't have any mandatory multiplayer achievements left, but I would welcome anyone who wants to play some co-op. I tried leaving the party open last time, but people kept joining and dropping and this game makes you restart the checkpoint if the players change. Took too much time to get going so I am only interested in private lobbies. Let me know if you're interested!
I figured that these two games and finishing off NERO and Call of Duty 2 are a good start. If time permits, I'll likely continue with Assassins Creed II or Sunset Overdrive.
Happy Gaming, All!
