Great week/weekend gaming!Permalink

I have been having a great time achievement hunting lately. I finally feel like I'm back to how I use to hunt. Trying to play games I want to play rather than the quick and easy ones, though I still play them here and there. Currently trying to get to 1,500,000 gamerscore and 1000 completions. It feels like a massive grind.

Last week I went through Life is Strange Remastered and Life is Strange Before The Storm Remastered. I honestly LOVED going through these again, Chloe is awesome and is one of the main reasons I love the game so much, Ashley Burch did an amazing job.

Crossfire X is a game I played because the achievements are all extremely easy, but its basically 10 hours of playing the same map. 100 kills, 100 headshots, and 100 games played and you are done. I basically got my kills and headshots and IDLED the rest for an easy and boring 1,000 Gamerscore. The Typewriter gun in the game is OP.
I ran through A Fold Apart because it got a Title Update worth 100G. All I did was play the two bonus episodes, using the hints and walking forward until they both ended. I ran through the game Blackberry Honey, which I can't even remember because you just hit RB and skip through the whole game and then have 1,000GS. Strive offered to run me through some Minecraft dungeon achievements, I suck at the game and have been carried through every achievement on my tag. I ran through Ammo Pigs, which is typing in a cheat and turning on godmode, adding money for achievements, buying skills, letting 30 chickens die, and then just autocompleting the levels. I ran through Nape Retroverse which takes about 10 minutes. I ran through Drone Gladiator, another 10 minute game.

I also started F.E.A.R. 3 Recently. It's not the first time I have played the game though. I played it years ago on PS3 and loved it. I found a copy of the disc for $3 used and have been waiting for it to be backwards compatible, was so happy when it was not only added, but also got FPS boost. The game is INSANELY fun on the series X. I ran through Contractions mode with a friend and we both got 30 crates delivered in one game, and I also grabbed some of the soul King achievements.

Tonight I ran through WWE Smackdown VS. Raw 2008. This is a game I spent COUNTLESS hours on back on the Playstation 2. I love this game SO much. I earned all of the single player achievements in one sitting following the TA guide and some youtube videos, really hope to get the multiplayer stuff soon if everything goes well.

Xbox 360 had some great games!!Permalink

For most of the month I have been on the 360 and loving it. I only have about 120,000 gamerscore on the 360, and 56 completions. It's something I've wanted to fix for a long time. Today I finally found and xbox with 7 great games. The old one I had was getting pretty bad.
I went and 100% Superman Returns. Honestly I enjoyed the game for the most part, I just really like Superman. The TV show Smallville really made me appreciate him more. It's basically fighting groups of enemies and watching cutscenes. The more annoying part is when you finish the game, the enemies keep spawning and you can't pick up collectibles until its done. Also had to Idle the game overnight for Play 12 hours and travel 10,000 miles.

I had started Wanted: weapons of fate a few months ago and couldn't get into it for some reason. I went back month and loved the game, pretty much finished it in 2 sittings. Its a really great game, the bullet curve mechanic is so cool.

I also went and 100% Night at the museum 2 in One sitting. I followed a video guide on youtube that shows you how to get everything, but the collectibles are sort of obvious if you check everywhere, and the game is pretty linear. It's one of the 360 games I went back to that I liked a lot. The boss fight at the end is pretty cool.

I'm currently working on Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions. This game is so cool, I've only played the tutorial and first level but I'm really enjoying it. The graphics are really cool, and the combat is fun. Really looking forward to getting into it more.

Some Great Backlog this weekend!!Permalink
External image

I've been recently trying to go through the WWE games I've missed getting what I can, I'm so hyped for 2K22! I still gotta go through 2007 and 2008, But I will eventually. I managed to get more gamerscore for the 360 2k17 than I did on the xbox one version. These both have discontinued achievements but it honestly did not bother me. These are some of my favorite games to achievement hunt on.

I have also been working on halo 3 a lot the past month, with friends from the discord and Strive. If he hadn't made that session I would Never have this done. Its the first achievement I ever popped an achievement on. As much as I complain about the series, I'm so glad this is done. Feels like a great weight has been lifted. I was very nervous going back for the score achievements, but most of them you dont even need the time bonus.

I've been trying to get 360 games started that I no longer own, or easy games I missed out on. My save somehow got deleted for terminator salvation, so this weekend I had to go back and play again. I prefer first person shooter games, but this honestly wasn't a terrible third person shooter.

I'm hoping to 100% assassins creed 2 soon, and also halo 4. All I'm missing for halo 4 is the campaign, and reach is already 100%.
Last thing I want to say is, I love the achievement hunting community. I have met so many great people!! If anyone wants to talk about anything even achievements find me on twitter or I can send you the Achievement Hunters Annonymous discord link.

Weekend Gaming!Permalink
External image

Honestly didn't really do too much gaming this weekend achievement-wise to be honest. It's only the second day of the month and I've only put 2000G on the leaderboard. Adios was my first completion of 2022, and The Innsmouth Case was my second.
When I was playing Adios I noticed on youtube there wasn't a achievement guide video. I decided to attempt to make one, its pretty much my first full guide on my channel but I really hope it helps people who don't like written guides. The game is really cool. Basically a walking sim but sort of all takes place on a farm.

I've also been slowly working on halo 4. I'm really in no way a halo fan, if someone asks me to play I'll usually suck it up and play, but I really don't enjoy the series. I managed to get all the multiplayer achievements done for Halo 4, so all I need is the campaign stuff. I was luckily able to boost most of the multiplayer achievements with a friend with 4 controllers a piece. The dlc achievements autopopping after getting 1 or 2 in each one was nice too!

I also went on gamestop to search for a game, and noticed they had a buy 2 get 1 free deal, and I used it three times. Probably spend more money than I should have, but getting 3 wwe games for $40 was a steal, the only one I don't own pretty much now is WWE 12. I got WWE 2k17 (xbox 360) and WWE 2k16 (xbox 360) which I have never put on my tag, because I played the xbox one versions. I know they have unobtainables, but I love the games and its still an easy and fun 600-700G so I'll take it! Also got 2011, 2007, 2008, 2009, Prey (xbox 360, and Backlog), Godfather 2 (backlog), andterminator salvation (Backlog). Buying those got me hyped so I loaded up SMACKDOWN VS. RAW 2010 and got an achievement I've been dreading for years. Seeing the Triple H start screen got me hyped to play these again. I love wrestling.
