September was relatively quiet and it just flew by without me creating a blog. I said I would make a better effort to blog more and before I knew it a month passed (I want to write something at least once every 2 weeks). So this is me trying to make an effort and keep on track while trying not to let another month fly by without a blog. I usually write my opening paragraphs/thought of the moment relating to gaming in some way. Since I have no specific topic to talk about I will just talk about stuff I did in general over the past month.
I continue to play a good deal of Neverwinter and I also have a 360 Game (Saints Row IV right now) that I concentrate on completing. I wanted to knock out some multiplayer this past month, but I just did not get motivated to put up the needed sessions. I will need to focus on that once I complete Saints Row. I can’t say for sure what the reasons are, I know i am not the hardcore gamer I was in the past. My gamerscore proves that, or I just play games that take a long time to complete like Neverwinter. Neverwinter never ends since there is always a new module on the horizon. It’s a 5 year old game with 15 modules and it doesn’t look like they will be stopping. It is still a fun game and anyone can jump in at any time. It’s probably a blend of all of it that only has me playing like I am these days.
I watch a ton of netflix. Ozark, The 100, American Horror Story, rewatched S1 of Breaking Bad, and S8 of The Walking Dead to get ready for Season 9. There are so many good shows out there. Rewatched some classic movies as well like The Dark Knight, The Aviator, Heat, Serenity, and Black Panther. I also did some reading. I read through the collected Hard Covers of The Walking Dead 9 & 10. Each book contains one years worth of stories. I like reading up after the TV season is over to see the differences and how things played out originally in the Comics. Book. Book 10 goes about 1/2 way through All Out War with Negan. Since I did not catch up to the show I ordered and just received my last shipment of Hard Covers Books 11-14 and since the show is heavily deviating from the comics with the exit of Andrew Lincoln I may read past the storylines in the TV show now. I also have been reading some Dark Horse Alien books and The complied ABC Warriors with a good chunk of Simon Bisley artwork that is just amazing. It was his first professional work and he killed it out the gate. So I have been busy outside of gaming as you can see.

Neverwinter is going well, I am raking in the AD always hitting the 100K cap. When Black Friday hits this year I will have MORE then enough zen (Converted from AD) to buy everything I need which is becoming less and less with every sale event. My collection score broke 3K and is sitting at 3317 thanks to all the fish in the Sea of Moving Ice. I have been concentrating on the new dungeons that became available to me since Module 15 (Ravenloft) was released. My in game achievement points are now 4485. 16 of my Enchantments are rank 12 bringing my Item Level to 13540. I can feel 14K inching closer every day and I will most certainly think I will be there on Black Friday.
State of Decay 2 (64/91 Achievements)
The first DLC hit a couple of weeks ago where you fight off waves of undead. This brought a bunch of new achievements pushing the total to 91 from the original 62 the game had at launch.
Saint’s Row IV (49/70 Achievements)
I have one achievement left in the base game and then the DLC should be pretty easy to get through. If it’s anything like the last game it will go fast. I ended up liking this game more then I though I would.
State of Decay: Year One Survival Edition (45/72 Achievements)
Another month and another challenge to be had. This month, Kill 200 zombies with blade weapons.
Resident Evil 4 HD (5/12 Achievements)
Nothing to report here, except I will try and make this my next completion after Saints Row
Tom Clancy’s The Division (47/65 Achievements)
My cousin stopped playing this game, so I stopped playing this game. It will most like drop down to the back burner list soon, unless I do something.

QUICK MOVIE REVIEW (Retro Review)
Dance with the Devil (Perdita Durango) - 8
What you would expect to be a straight to video release, surprisingly is actually a great piece of film making from a Spanish/USA joint effort. This film is filled with powerful imagery and an equally stunning score. From the start this movie grabs you and lets you know you are not in a safe little vacation paradise. But instead you are kidnapped from your chair and plunged into Mexico's seedy world of crime and ritualistic religion. Staring Rosie Perez, James Gandolfini as a DEA agent and with a demonic performance form Javier Bardem, this is one film you should definitely see. PC
Juggernaut Smash, Flip Out (State of Decay 2)
