The game is now live and we can now really sink our teeth into the title. The world is pretty expansive. It feels like it goes on forever even once you reach the edges of the current map. To be fair, it is mostly wilderness with ruins scattered throughout the world, but it looks incredible as you traverse through valleys and bioluminescent underwater caverns. If you compare it to Destiny this world is massive in size. It also feels like it can end tomorrow if one of these as of yet unexperienced cataclysm were to hit.
Your Ironman like javelin and the gunplay is a good deal of fun. From barrel rolls to hovering over the battlefield while unleashing a barrage of destruction from your ultimate weapon is pretty cool. The primer and detonate combo system is interesting, delivering a lot of damage to enemies. It has the usual assortment of weapons, shotguns, snipers, and assault weapons. There are three other javelins to play with, but I am enjoying my ranger so much that I can wait to dabble with the others. Grouping with others makes missions a lot easier, but you can go at it alone as well to really challenge yourself. This is how I am playing the game so that I can also experience the story. NPC interaction is really good. You expect that from Bioware, so I am interested in seeing where the story goes.
Freeplay which is just a fancy term for exploring the world outside the story is just as intriguing as the story so far. You can roam around the world for hours on end running into world events which you will take on with other players. Freeplay and Strongholds are public so you will always have someone with you. Although you can break away from them in Freeplay and explore on your own. For Strongholds you will need the help. All in all Anthem is looking to be a solid game which I can’t wait to get through and then see what’s coming next.

Neverwinter (114/168 Achievements) - Item Level 14,487 / 15,000 [+187]
( Collection Score 4283 [+163] / Companion Score 215 [+3] / In-Game Achievement Points 5115 [+55] )
More progress on the road to 15K as my companion now has all Rank 12+ gems. My main is one gem away from having all rank 13 offensive enchantments. The new profession system also brings some slight upgrades to the armor reinforcement you can apply to your gear with the +1 versions. So I increased my rings and lostmauth set gaining 12 item level and 40 action points. Not a whole lot, but an increase in that department non the less.
Grand Theft Auto IV (56/65 Achievements)
All the achievements in the base game are done including all the multiplayer so I moved this out of MULTIPLAYER READY and into NOW PLAYING. Thanks to my boosting partner Peaches518 we got everything done in about a month, boosting 3 times a week. I started up The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC. I can't say I am loving it that much. If I had to rank all the stuff Rockstar has done, this might be at the bottom, which is still good compared to most others games. Maybe it's just me wanting to get the game finally complete. I did like how they tied in the Diamond heist from the main game.
Anthem (3/46 Achievements)
Anthem is finally here along with new adventures and level grinding. This will be the game i get to play with my old Destiny crew again.
Defiance (68/75 Achievements)
I am almost at 5K Ego level. I am playing this less and less mainly because of this elusive Kitty Achievement. At most it is once or twice a week. Also I am concentrating more on finishing GTA IV.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamil Unlimited (6/113 Achievements)
Well I picked this one back up in order to work through the story achievements. Now that Anthem is out, it surely will go back to the back burner

QUICK MOVIE REVIEW (Retro Review)
Blade II - 6 1/2
Heavy special effects drive this sequel. It does surpass the original in many ways as sequels are expected to do. The sequences seemed set up only to showcase Snipes's killing ability in a new cool way using some new high tech gadget. The vampire scare as I like to call the new threat, is a fascinating design. They are an offshoot of vampires, a mutation of sorts that is pretty impressive for a genre of creatures that's been the same for the last 100 years. The vampires are now the hunted and Blade is recruited by the head vampire to help stop the vampire scare from spreading. The plot's essence is good but the story needed more work. MR
