- Project Root
- Hitman GO (WP)Completed (5):
- Crystal Defenders
- Microsoft Jigsaw (Win 8)
- World At Arms (WP)
- Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
- Hitman GO (WP)Crystal Defenders Achievements
This game from 2009 is a tower defense game with a Final Fantasy skin slapped on. The gameplay is straightforward and the overall quality is okay; Nothing special, but nothing particularly wrong either. It feels a bit bland and perhaps the achievement list could've been a bit more varied and exciting. But since I bought this game on sale, I'm not particularly unhappy since I got what I paid for. Project Root Achievements
This game had a 30% discount during its first few days at launch. This made me buy it, since I really liked what I saw on the screenshots. Project Root is best described as a free-roam shoot 'em up. It especially reminded me of Raptor: Call of the Shadows, a scrolling shooter from the 90's. Despite the fact that the learning curve is somewhat steep and you have to take your time playing cautious and careful, I enjoy this game.Hitman GO (WP) Achievements
A Hitman puzzle game? From its announcement on I was intrigued by the concept of this game. I'm not a huge Hitman fan by any standard (I only played the first game back in 2000), but I like the concept and style of the franchise. They made this game look like a virtual boardgame with the characters being little pawns on a large board. The style is very fun and the puzzles fit the Hitman universe very well.Microsoft Jigsaw (Win 8) Achievements
Another Win 8 game from Microsoft which requires you to play a certain amount of matches every month for a year. But after a year of playing this game religiously, the completion is finally mine. As long as you remind yourself to play a bit every day, the grind is not too bad. And the Windows Surface lends itself great for playing with virtual jigsaw pieces.World At Arms (WP) Achievements
This game should've been an easy completion after loading up the save from the completed Win 8 version, but after the debacle that was described in February's summary, I had to complete the game from the start again. This time, there was nothing new or exciting anymore and the game turned into a mind-numbing grind. But I persisted and got a completion added to my collection. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Achievements
It took me almost two years to complete this game. This was mainly due to the online portion of the game basically being extinct. Needless to say, I'm glad I finally finished it. Because this means I can start on the next one in the series. I remember some people not giving Brotherhood a fair chance because it released too close to part II of the game and felt more like DLC, but I think this game is a great addition to the series, only hindered by the online portion.
And now on to my only goal I set myself for this year; A completion percentage of 96%.
At the moment I'm at 16.7%
of attaining my goal while I should be at 49.45%
. As we're closing in on the halfway mark, I'm nowhere near where I'm supposed to be. I guess it could be worse, but I really have to step up my game in order to finish this challenge successfully. At least I got a bunch of completions added to my tag.
That's all, folks!
Thanks for reading.
