Recovery has been well, but a little too slow for my tastes. Could be that I keep aggravating my neck and back muscles by thinking I'm fully recovered, but really not.
The scaring is "plastic surgery" quality, as I say. Doesn't look gnarly at all, so I'm pleased with that.
I should come up with a cool story on how I got the scar. Perhaps I could say I was attacked by samurai because my great grandfather was a spy for the Japanese and they're looking for revenge against his family.
Or, maybe a bullet skimmed off me as I was protecting the mayor of town from a mugging...
All in all, it's just a little bit of a downer that I can't lift heavy things or exercise as intensely. Perhaps by next week, I'll be ready to rock and get some more Xbox Fitness in.
Never realized how far up I was in the Special Genre leaderboards until dlCHIEF58 was discussing his rankings for their state. Definitely possible for me to reach the top spot for the whole site, despite being tied for it. He pointed out MathGuy42 and I would eventually share the top spot once we both complete
ROBLOX.
With that said, would someone kindly mess up the
ROBLOX servers for a day?
Nah, it's just this whole, "play the game consecutively for 20 days" that's causing me to sit where I'm currently at, ranking-wise. It's painful having to wait.
No, bother. I once had a 1,000 day achievement win streak. 20 days is a walk in the park for me.
I keep tabs on this "giveaway" thread from time to time and recently, I noticed that this same person is claiming all of these codes -- which is fine -- but they're not playing them.
I don't know... Just rubbed me the wrong way, I guess. Maybe it's because I was brought up differently and I hardly ever asked for anything and was always thankful for whatever I had. What gets me is that this person were clamoring for
another free code, but hadn't played the previous two game codes they redeemed. Keep in mind, this is all within a week's time.
That comes off as selfish to me, but perhaps that's typical in these recent generations. Having this "gimmie-gimmie" attitude, but nothing to give back.
Entitlement seems to know no bounds nowadays. No one is willing to work to get somewhere anymore from what I've observed.
Nothing too much to report. Since my last post, we installed some security cameras around the house, but it's not like we live in a horrible neighborhood or anything like that. Just gives us peace of mind more than anything else. Plus, with my playback via the DVR unit, I can see who all came up to the front door and things like that. Neat stuff.
Still have plenty of other house projects planned out, but since my surgery, I haven't been able to do much.
Finally caved in and let Dawn have another puppy too. Named her Lacy, after another (former) Alabama Running Back, Eddie Lacy (currently plays for the Green Bay Packers). She got fixed earlier this week too, so she's been having to wear the lampshade so she doesn't pull out her sutures.
We're not too sure what type of breed she is. Currently, at five months old, she weighs a little over 20 pounds.
Gaming wise, I've just been tinkering around a little here and there. As of this moment, I've been playing the rest of the DLC in
Borderlands and planning to at least wrap up the rest of the Main Story achievements before moving onto something else. I tell you what though, I find Scooter hilarious. I'm considering on making
"Smokin' Jesus titty cinnamon!" as my catchphrase going forward.
"Just a quick note about Moxxi in the event you ain't met her. She's got a peculiar streak in 'er. Loves the lime light, but she ain't as sketchy as she appears to be on stage. ... Oh, almost forgot, she's my mom. So you treat her right or I'll bury you where I buried Lucky. Yeah, I killed him, don't act all surprised. I told you I was gonna do it."
Next week, I'm planning on starting up
Wolfenstein (2009) and doing that MP grind. Seems manageable enough. I reckon we can get it knocked out in a week or so and then I'll move onto something else.
May start up
AC Rogue during that time so I can properly follow that up with
AC Unity since I have a friend waiting on me to do those co-op achievements. Then again, I've been itching to play
Sunset Overdrive too.
Decisions, decisions... Gah!
Anyway, I've been curious what do you all -- my followers -- get from my blog. Does it interest you? Gets you thinking outside the box? Bore you to tears?
Let me know. Considering on going a different route or was wanting to know if I should keep treading water like I have been.
Later!

Here are the high priority projects at the moment:

Always looking for an opportunity to start back up games I've either already completed or reached a stopping point on, so if the list below peaks your interest, then hit me up! While I don't really want to boost these games in the general sense, I would love to help out in a cooperative fashion or even play competitively for a bit.
In a continuous effort on getting visibility of my dust collectors, here's some games I'm wanting to sell (or trade):

I'll keep things the same by not listing any prices. You just let me know what you think the game is worth and we’ll go from there! I'm also open to giving away two games for one. As always, Just do me a kindness and give me more than GameStop would.
By the way, we can gift monies via PayPal, digital Microsoft Points or whatever you feel more comfortable with.
