September’s Period Summary
And here are September’s Statistics!
It’s been a pretty intense last 40 days, it feels like when it rains it pours and it’s especially true with everything that decided to come all at the same time, at the end of August we packed up all of our possessions in the old house and moved to our new on the 1st of September.
I also found out a few weeks later that I got accepted for a new job in the town I moved to, a local IT Technician role which was definitely more up my street than what I was doing beforehand, problem was however is that I need to get a driving licence for the job before the end of October as it is required for the work.
So not only did I start a new job at the beginning of the last week but I also am taking lessons whenever I can in my free time and trying to learn to drive, I’ve never even touched a steering wheel prior to this and being given only a month to try and do this is fairly stressful.
Trying to Balance Moving House, Renovating House, starting and learning a new job, learning to drive, reading theory books and balancing social life between girlfriend and friends has frankly been quite tough.
I restarted World of Warcraft last month too which cut into my Xbox “gaming time”, though I tend to mix WoW with social life and only really play when my friends are – I’m hoping that once I have my licence everything will calm down and return to normal, but even finding time to sit down and do these blogs has been a struggle.
Ah, Adult Life.
It’s weird, I always considered Resident Evil 4 my favourite Resident Evil game, I remember playing it over 5 times when it first came out on Gamecube, I played it again several times when it came out on Playstation 2, I played it again multiple times on the Wii and I even bought and played through it a few times when it was released on the 360.
What are two more playthroughs, right?
I struggled, really badly – Not with the game itself, I consider myself a pro, but actually sitting down and forcing my way through the game, the frustrating encounters, the aiming constantly glitching (aiming far to the right when holding LT causing me to get hit by an enemy on numerous occasions), oh and all of the Ada cutscenes not being upscaled so they’re blurry and completely unwatchable.
It’s weird because deep down I remember those 15+ Playthroughs I did and I don’t remember getting as frustrated at it as I did this time, maybe I’m just too old to be spending my precious free time on re-masters...
