March 2018 Goals

it has come to that time again, time to set some new goals for the upcoming month. I received some feedback last month and I think perhaps some people might be misunderstanding my goals. My main goal is to knock off games in my backlog that have been sitting there for awhile. These are goals to help me reduce my backlog one game at a time. And what better way to do it than to knock off the low hanging fruit. If I don't assign myself some personal goals, these games will sit on my tag forever. This is more or less a "cleaning up" process. These goals are not difficult by any means so if they seem overly easy, keep that in mind. I think for March I'm going to set the following goals:

Complete Roblox
Complete Comix Zone
Complete Lego Marvel Super Heroes

Since I've completed my goals for last month I decided to jump into the world of Lumo! I find this game extremely fun to play but very challenging as well. I doubt I'll ever get the completion but I'm sure as heck going to give it a go. I would say I'm about halfway through the story but this one will likely require multiple playthroughs. I collected all 32 ducks without dying but the achievement didn't pop which means I will have to go through the game again. I figure if I just plow through the game and get whatever I can, I can start another playthrough with a more focused attempt. Will probably also use a walkthrough.

Last month I mentioned I might work on NHL 15 and FIFA 12 but very little progress has been made. I was able to unlock an achievement in NHL 15 but there are still 4 to go and a couple of them are totally luck related. (buying packs and getting specific cards) I spent 0 hours on FIFA 12 and that was fine with me. :) I also talked about Madden 25 but honestly, the auctions are dead and to even attempt getting any further would be more frustrating than it's worth. I can settle with being 2 achievements short of a completion. :)

Are we really almost into the 3rd month of 2018? Where does the time go...

Completing Comix Zone will be easy for you! I really enjoyed that game. I've been trying to find NHL14 in stores but I'm having trouble, that's why I haven't joined the session yet. I'm really surprised I can't find it, but I'll keep trying until Friday!

Tell me about it, it's going to be Christmas again before you know it. lol

Comix Zone is ok, I've got to the middle of mission 2 and fought the fingernail dude once but hadn't looked how to beat him. I'll likely go back and give this an actual legit attempt at completing it and knocking it off my gamer tag.

I'm hoping you can find NHL 14 because we need one more for EASHL. But if not, I'll likely make more sessions in the future for that and other NHL games.

In regards to Rick Nash, I love the trade. I do feel like we gave up quite a bit for him but I look at it this way... we weren't going to re-sign Spooner, Belesky was a bust, a 1st round draft pick is going to be a high pick anyway because of the Bruins standings and the 7th rounder is a non factor. The only thing I'm not all that happy about was Lindgren but quite honestly, we are pretty stacked with defensemen both in Boston and in the AHL. You have to give up something to get something, right? What are your thoughts on the trade(s)?
