DICE's much loved first person shooter,, unsurprisingly got a nice chunk of time in the spotlight during EA's conference at Gamescom. With tons of new content on the way, EA have revealed a new Premium Edition of the game in which those who have yet to try the title can bag themselves pretty much everything Battlefield 3 related so far and everything coming in the future.

The Battlefield 3 Premium Edition will include all five extension packs, including the two map packs which are currently available, "Back to Karkand" and "Close Quarters", and the three upcoming packs, "Armored Kill", "Aftermath", and "End Game". On top of this, EA have also stated that the Premium Edition will include the "Battlefield 3 Head-start Kit" to give the newest of players a bit of help with its 15 weapons unlocks alongside gadget and vehicle unlocks.

With the announcement of the Premium Edition, DICE & EA have also released a new trailer showcasing a mix of previously seen and unseen gameplay from old and upcoming map packs:

The upcoming Premium Edition of Battlefield 3 is set for release on September 11th for North America, and September 13th for Europe, with a price tag of $69.99/€59.99. Does this make for an attractive price-point for those interested in picking up the game?
