Gamescom 2012: New Borderlands 2 Trailer & Screens

By Jonathan Barnes, 4 years ago
Strap in, Vault Hunters, as Gamescom has brought a load of great new info about your favorite upcoming game, https://www.trueachievements.com/Borderlands-2-xbox-360.htm.

One of the first assets that we're excited to share is some info and screen shots on one of Zer0's (that badass assassin you're all excited about) skills named "Execute". The "Execute" skill allows Zer0 to make a high-speed, dashing melee attack. While that may sound vague, the accompanying screenshots really do show just how lethal the action can be in the hands of a skilled user.

Next up on the list are a few screenshots showing off a few of the new characters you'll meet as you shoot and loot through Pandora, Sir Hammerlock and Tiny Tina (who you may recall from that incredible Wimoweh Trailer).

The focus now shifts to the greater emphasis on character customization. While we have already showed off some of the Bonus Skins, Gearbox is now showing off a few of the different looks that Maya the Siren and Salvador the Gunzerker can display (as well as a sneak peak at one of Salvador's skill trees).

The screenshot look just wouldn't be complete without a few pictures of some of that glorious action.

Finally, in true Gearbox fashion, we have another short trailer-slash-commercial that hypes up the merits of Tediore guns. While I'm more of an Atlas fan myself, the marketing pitch is pretty effective.

Fortunately for gamers, the return to Pandora is only a few short weeks away. Borderlands 2 drops on September 18th in North America and internationally on September 21st.
