It's not much to go on, but Terminal Reality's survival-FPS, https://www.trueachievements.com/The-Walking-Dead-Video....htm, has today shown off a pair of debut screenshots from the game which is based off of the AMC series' characters. If you missed the announcement, make sure to check that out, too.

A quick recap for you too busy to follow the hyperlink: You'll play as Daryl Dixon, with brother Merle by your side, in a prequel story that has you traversing the dilapidated, lifeless world in an effort to make it to the safe haven in Atlanta. Anyone who knows anything about The Walking Dead knows Atlanta is not the salvation they think they're heading towards, and that should make for an interesting dilemma as player expectations and character expectations are at odds.

Though the game is presented in first-person format, you won't be going guns-blazing. A heavy focus on rationing food, supplies, and ammo is in play, and you'll often be able to stealthily evade the undead, if you so choose.

Player choices will also play a role in the outcome of the game. As you encounter other survivors in the world, not all will be friendly, or even truthful. You'll have to live with your choices as you press on to Georgia's capitol.

We here at TA will keep pressing on during Gamescom 2012 and bring you all the brains news you crave. Look for more info on The Walking Dead Video Game as we approach the 2013 release date.
