In relatively unsurprising news, EA have announced that Army of TWO: The 40th Day
will have new campaign DLC, hitting the marketplace on April 1st. No, honestly.
Entitled Chapters of Deceit
, the content will set you back 800 MSP, and continues Salem and Rios' travails in war-torn Shanghai, encountering even more destruction, devastation and enemies determined to bring the city to the brink of ruin.
Army of Two: The 40th Day - Chapters of Deceit features two all-new co-op campaign maps. In the new chapters, players stumble upon information that could lead to ending the invasion by Jonah and his 40th Day Initiative army. However, they quickly learn that everyone is out for themselves and to trust no one but their partner.
The content sounds fairly akin to the Veteran Map Pack for Army of TWO
, just with a much, much higher price, unfortunately. No word yet on achievements, and I'm not going to make any ridiculous hat-related bets on it, but for DLC of that price, from a publisher like EA, and the sequel to a game that had two chunks of achievement-filled DLC it's safe to assume there will be.
Check the link below for the content's trailer. For those in need of more testosterone-fuelled, bromantic action keep your eyes for Chapters of Deceit
when it hits on April 1st.
