Viral Month Update

As you all well know, there's been a real flurry of activity around TrueAchievements during the month of October. Not to be lost in all of that is the still on-going Viral Month which, with just about a week to go, is proving to be an even bigger success than the inaugural event.

Here to give you the latest stats and figures, as well as let you know of a new viral which arrived this month, is Community Events Team Manager, http://www.trueachievements.com/Chad+and+Jessie.htm.

Hello Fellow TA’ers

It has been just over three weeks into the event and we’ve already surpassed the TA score gained and total achievements spread from a year ago. So far we’ve had over 850 sessions, over 1700 TA’ers participate, and over 650 TA’ers sign up to host sessions. I want to send out a HUGE thank you to everyone who has volunteered time to spread germs and to a special thanks to all the back-up hosts who have stepped in when needed to insure these sessions can happen.

We are heading into the last week of the event, so now is the time to sign up for http://www.trueachievements.com/communityeventsessions.aspx and get those achievements you’re looking for before this event go back into the TA vault. If you wanting to host sessions, or host more sessions, make sure you sign up or edit your registration page are we are currently making session for the last 5 days of the event.

Recently, a new Viral Achievement appeared on the site and was added to the event. http://www.trueachievements.com/a169996/omega-virus-ach....htm As of yet, we haven’t had anyone volunteer to host this achievement, so if you’re interested in spreading it make sure you add this one to your registration page and maybe we can get this one spread in the event these last few days.

Thanks again to all the gracious volunteers and let’s see if we can get to a total of 6,000 infectious achievements spread.

Michelle is the Assistant Manager of the Newshounds at TrueAchievements and has been a member of staff since 2010. When not contributing to gaming websites, she makes her living as a mild-mannered librarian. She can be compelled to play just about anything if there's a co-op component, and has been playing games with friends and siblings since the Atari 2600. As it's reportedly healthy to have hobbies outside of gaming, she also roots for some of the most difficult sporting franchises to root for, the New York Mets and New York Jets, but offsets that by rooting for the New Jersey Devils. She's also seen pretty much none of the movies you have, but she's working on that.
