Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance Gameplay Videos

Konami have released a series of gameplay videos for their upcoming slash-em-up spin-off to the Metal Gear Solid games, Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. The videos are from a Japanese build of the game and feature the cybernetically enhanced ninja, Raiden, engaging in a variety of fun Raiden-like activities.

We get Raiden enjoying a leisurely run on a beach, as electricity sparks from his ankles (he should probably get that seen to):

We get Raiden putting his sword to good use as he attacks and blocks against men, mechs and mech-dog-things:

We get Raiden engaging in some brutal stealth execution moves on unsuspecting baddies:

We get Raiden using precision slashing aiming to slice some fools in twain and casually remove their spine. You see, he's insinuating that his enemies are figuratively spineless by making them physically spineless. He's like a lethal poet:

We then get a couple of extended videos showing Raiden doing all these things and more in different playthroughs of the same sections, including: taking his anger out on bridges, palm trees and people's faces; chucking grenades where they aren't wanted (listen out for the classic Metal Gear 'Alert!' noise); saving helpless civilians; and flinging mechs around like cats by their tails:

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance is due for release in North America on February 19th, 2013 and in Europe on February 21st. Check out the unique Collector's Edition here.
