UK Deal Roundup for November 13th, 2012

By Keith Gray, 6 years ago
Amazon brings the most deals to the table this week. The bulk of their offers involve a revamp of certain sections of the Special Offers. ASDA is continuing its habit of pretty much mimicking Amazon's promotions and vice versa, particularly with both retailers offering the same hardware at an identical price.

GAME, Sainsbury's and Tesco all introduce new promotions this week. Meanwhile, ShopTo relies on an established stalwart and a soon-to-be-released title.

All prices are correct at the time of writing, and subject to change at any time at the retailer's discretion.

New Sales

Two sections of Amazon's Special Offers have been refreshed. Items priced between £10 and £20 include Borderlands 2 at £19.99. The £20 to £30 category includes Sleeping Dogs at £20.

Amazon also has for £7.

Amazon and ASDA are level-pegging on official chrome-finished controllers. Both retailers have blue, red or silver colour options available. Regardless of which controller, or indeed retailer, you choose each item will set you back £30.

ASDA matches Amazon's price of £20 for Sleeping Dogs and F1 2012 for £25. The TA community seems to have high admiration for the former and, in case you hadn't noticed, yours truly would highly recommend the latter!

GAME's Up to 50% Off promotion sees a decent group of titles at reduced prices. Here's a few of the included titles:
Borderlands 2 - £19.99
Dishonored (GAME-exclusive, Special Edition version) - £29.99
Risen 2: Dark Waters - £17.99
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 - £22.99
WRC 3 - £19.99

Sainsbury's Great Value Games promotion has Dance Central 3 and Nike+ Kinect Training at £27.99 each, as well as Kinect Sesame Street TV at £15.99.

ShopTo has blockbuster title, Gears of War 3 for just £13.85. This may be the perfect opportunity to grab the game and pop the, now easier to get, 'Socialite' achievement.

It's practically your last chance to pre-order Hitman: Absolution (including Sniper Challenge) before its release next week. ShopTo's £31.85 has sneaked in as the best price at this late stage.

Tesco is encouraging us to get into another futuristic battle with Call of Duty: Black Ops II. You can grab what is sure to be one of 2013's biggest titles for just £25. As you would probably expect there is a catch though! You'll need to purchase a points card or subscription along with the game. The cheapest option is 2100 MSP for £17.50.

Tesco's Gaming Bargains have had a minor overhaul this week. Here's a very small selection of what's included:
BioShock 2 (Xbox 360) - £10 - £7.91 - £7.21 - £7
Resident Evil 5 (Xbox 360) - £12

Zavvi has the Starter Pack for Skylanders Giants available for £49.95.
