There have been a lot of rumours surrounding when gamers can expect to shift their focus to the next-gen console, and there is one developer who is already gearing up their development of their next project for the next-gen consoles.
Avalanche Studios, the minds behind Just Cause and Just Cause 2 have packed up their Xbox 360 developer kits and are shipping them back in order to focus on their future with the secretive, Project Mamba.
The above picture of boxes is from Avalanche Studios' New York developing studio, and the contents are, you guessed it, Xbox 360 developer kits.
Christofer Sundberg, added a simple remark in regards to where the developing outfit is heading:
We're shipping 'em back. Going next-gen on your asses. They also stated that Project Mamba is their next AAA title that will be making headway around 2014.
Although this is a long way off, especially in gaming years, the future of gaming and the next-gen horizon is still a hot topic over a hot pocket and beer. Nonetheless, it is still worthy to note that developers are deep within their secret lairs hard at work alongside gnomes, pixies and ancient warrior gods, carving the future of gaming.
We will be sure to keep you posted for anymore news surrounding Avalance Studios and their next-gen Project Mamba.
