Steins;Gate: Senkei Kousoku no Phenogram Announced

By Michelle Balsan,
If you're anything like me, the title of this article probably left you scratching your head. Just what is Steins;Gate: Senkei Kousoku no Phenogram? Clearly, it's a Japanese title, but is this the first of its kind? Is it an RPG? What exactly is this all about?

Steins;Gate

As it turns out, Steins;Gate: Senkei Kousoku no Phenogram (which is translated to Steins;Gate: Phenogram of Linear Restraint) is set to be the sixth Xbox 360 entry in 5pb.'s self-described "hypothetical science adventure" titles. If you're curious, other titles include games such as https://www.trueachievements.com/STEINSGATE/achievements.htm, Chaos;Head: Noah, and Robotics;Notes.

Each of these titles, including this newly announced one, is essentially a text adventure. Your job as the gamer is to read through what happens and choose to answer or ignore phone calls (or other similar yes or no situations) until the game eventually winds its way to a conclusion.

Other than the title and the vague release window of next year, not much is yet known about Steins;Gate: Senkei Kousoku no Phenogram. What we can expect, if the history of the series is any indication, is another fairly easy 1,000G for those gamers who have access to Japanese consoles.
