It may seem like much longer ago, but it was only back in September that Kinect Sesame Street TV
and Kinect Nat Geo TV
debuted. Both games take advantage of the Kinect sensor to offer unique, 2-way interactive learning opportunities. Though many folks around here were apt to pick up the titles for the GamerScore, they actually also do deliver on their promise of offering an engaging learning experience for the children they're targeted at.
Apparently, the titles both met with some success, and Microsoft has announced today that both will be receiving a second batch of eight episodes. They also note the second season of Kinect Nat Geo TV
will be hosted by reptile expert and host of Nat Geo WILD's Dangerous Encounters
, Brady Barr.Kinect Nat Geo TV Season Two
and Kinect Sesame Street Season Two
will both be released on January 7th. Unlike the first season, the second will only be available digitally. Each game will consist of eight thirty-minute episodes, which can either be downloaded separately for 400 MSP or all eight can be downloaded via a season pass for 2400 MSP.
