DmC: Devil May Cry Gets an App for Your Phone

In this new age of technology it comes as no surprise that more and more companies in the gaming industry are making use of social media networks in order to help add new elements to their game and the gamer on the go.

DmC: Devil May Cry is no different as the minds at Capcom and Ninja Theory are releasing a free app for the upcoming title.

The Eye of Dante app will allow people to take pictures of the real-world and then add their own special flare or text to the existing picture, then post it for other gamers to see.

By joining The Order (http://theorderblog.net/), the organization within the world of DmC formed to fight demons, users of the app are challenged to undertake different quests and achieve specific goals, to attain points towards their style ranking. Completion of missions will result in exclusive unlockable rewards, such as wallpapers and ringtones, as well as points which can then be redeemed within DmC Devil May Cry for Red Orbs, the in-game currency used to upgrade and unlock Dante’s skills.
Here are a few sample pictures and a trailer that describes the fun times that can be had with The Eye of Dante app.
