Namco Bandai Cancels Aero-Cross

Dearly Beloved, we have gathered here today to wish a fond farewell to a game we may not have known well, or known at all, but one that requires us to take note of its passing.

Aero-Cross may not have been the biggest endeavor or the brightest or the most-beloved or the most well-known, but it was an endeavor by Namco Bandai. Originally intended to be a re-imagining of the 1985 Namco arcade cult-classic, Metro-Cross, and the third game in the company’s “Namco Generations” project (other titles included Galaga Legions DX and, the development fell on hard times due to "various reasons" and has been sent to that glorious digital farm upstate with Star Wars: Battlefront 3 and NBA Live 13.
