Graeme Boyd better known amongst the Xbox LIVE community as AceyBongos (presumably in reference to his superior percussive skills) posted a tweet which was met with excitement earlier today.
Listen up Agents! We've just announced the Crackdown 2 release date as July 9, 2010. Prepare yourself!
And with that it was confirmed. Microsoft
have detailed Crackdown 2
will be released July 9th in Europe, and July 6th in the US.
An appearance at E3 all the way back in 2009 showed that the sequel would support co-operative play for up to four players over Xbox LIVE and competitive game modes for up to sixteen players simultaneously.
Add to this the improved abilities and characters customisation, and there's bound to be much impatience amongst the gaming community for July 2010. Crackdown 2
producer James Cope stated that there would be a playable demo released prior to the scheduled release dates, so you might be able to get your fix sooner than you think.
