Fans of the Earth Defense Force titles will be pleased to know that the latest installment from Japanese developer Sandlot, will be given a western release albeit with a slightly different name from its Japanese counterpart.

The previously titled Earth Defense Force 4 will be landing in the west as Earth Defense Force 2025 adding a sense of chronology to the series.

Along with the news of the title change, D3Publisher of America also added a couple of new screenshots to supplement those released just recently.
