GTASC 2013 Reminder

By Michelle Balsan, 6 years ago
Hi again, TAers.

Like many of you, we were pretty wrapped up in holiday-related events, so we wanted to make sure the GTASC was all squared away before it launches in a little over a week.

As it turns out, many teams have not fully finished registration, and you're going to need to do that in order to participate! In order to check out your registration status, and to complete registration, head here.

This also allows for a short extension of the sign-up period, but this is definitely a last call! If you'd like to sign up for GTASC 2013 - head here for details on tiers and how to go about signing up. Additionally, if you're looking for teammates still, go ahead and check out this article for links to threads where people are looking for teammates.

Just so that everyone is aware, rules are already in place in case the tiers don't reach 100 teams, as this will impact elimination. Here are the rules:
The two lowest scoring teams will be eliminated each period with the exception of the B-Side tier where any team below the elimination score for the main contest will be removed.
Should a tier contain more team members than the main contest tier, then only the teams below the main contest tier elimination score will be eliminated.
Should the Main contest tier not contain 100 teams, the main contest will run single eliminations until it is mathematically feasible to finish with double eliminations.

Sign-up is extended until January 1st.
The competition will still launch on January 6th. Good luck to everyone who enters!
