Port Royale 3 Takes Care of the Harbour Master

By Rebecca Smith, 3 years ago
Every now and again when I'm covering the new DLC releases, I come across something that I wasn't expecting. That happened today. Three months ago, Port Royale 3: Pirates and Merchants PC players got the first of three pieces of DLC, "Harbour Master". This DLC landed on the Xbox LIVE Marketplace today without any warning.

As well as adding four new achievements worth 100G, the content adds these new features to the game:

• Build your own ships!
• An economic adviser to assist players in making financial choices
• Six new buildings (including embassy, fire department and more)
• Decorative objects such as plants, statues and various types of street coverings
• More control over city defensive lines
Check out these screenshots for a taste of the new content. These were taken from the PC version of the game so some do include PC control schemes.

The other two pieces of DLC will be called "Dawn of Pirates" and "New Adventures". The former was released on PC back in November so is likely to see a release on the Xbox 360 fairly soon. The latter is yet to appear on any platform. I can confirm that both will have achievements. We'll bring you more details as we get them.

The "Harbour Master" DLC costs 400 MSP and can be downloaded from here.
