Hot Fixes Coming to Borderlands 2

By Michelle Balsan,
Gearbox revealed today that a set of hot fixes has gone live for their hit title, Borderlands 2. They largely apply to various issues with "Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage". Here's the full list of adjustments:

Adjusted Mechromancer’s Sweetheart class mod to correctly increase team health.
Assassin’s “Slayer of Terramorphous” class mod no longer includes Gunzerker skill bonus.
Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Critical hits against Midgets now register properly.
Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Rat Thief enemies are no longer allowed in Pete’s Bar due to patron concerns regarding excessive theft.
Mr. Torgue’s Campaign of Carnage : Torgue vending machines can now stock up to level 50 legendary weapons.
In order for these hot fixes to be applied, you must be connected to the internet. As explained by Chris Faylor at Gearbox's site, hot fixes are typically temporarily put in place, so they need to be reapplied every time you start the game, thus explaining the need to be connected to the internet in order to receive the update. Unlike a typical patch, you won't have to download anything as it will be applied automatically once you press start.
