Behind the Music of Remember Me

By Lexley Ford, 3 years ago
Games are often judged on how they look, and even though music is an essential tool for conveying emotion, atmosphere and a sense of character depth, one of the most overlooked aspects of a game is often its musical score. It would seem that the folks at Dontnod Entertainment are well aware of this as the latest developer diary for Remember Me focuses purely on the title's music. Composers Olivier Deriviere and John Kurlander give us an explanation of how they are electronically manipulating a score from the London Philharmonic Orchestra and developing a unique sound to fit the futuristic tone of Neo Paris 2084 and the characters inhabiting the city.

Remember Me is due to be released at some point during May 2013.
