Tecmo Koei has announced that Team Ninja, the developer behind the recent iterations in the Dead or Alive and Ninja Gaiden 3 franchises, is currently working on bringing another action-fighting title to our favourite console. "The enigmatic warrior Ryu Hayabusa must fight to lift a curse that threatens to destroy him" in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge, the follow-up to https://www.trueachievements.com/Ninja-Gaiden-3/achieve....htm.
Yosuke Hayashi of Team Ninja is understandably excited about the announcement, and highlights some of the game's upcoming features:
Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is the most action-packed and feature rich Ninja Gaiden game ever created... The brutal combat will challenge the hardest of hardcore Ninja Gaiden fans while also rewarding them with tons of bonus content and new features including three playable female characters, new stages, and three times as many Ninja Trial missionsThe franchise's battle system is being redesigned from scratch in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge to reduce the succession of QTE events and re-introduce the ability to dismember the enemy AI. Ryu will be joined by Kasumi, Momiji and Ayane as playable characters who can be utilised in the Ninja Trials co-op mode and the all-new Chapter Challenge. The latter of those female characters will also feature in her own stand-alone storyline, alongside Ryu's attempts to save his destiny.
A game announcement isn't a game announcement these days without a big selection of screenshots to showcase what can be expected. Unsurprisingly, Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is no different.
There's not too long for the blood-thirsty among us to wait. The brutal, sword-slashing action in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge is slated to arrive on April 2nd, 2013 in North America and April 5th in Europe via retail outlets and digital download options.
