Japanese developer FromSoftware
has the cogs of war grinding again and are making a return to a beloved mech franchise with their recently announced title, Armored Core: Verdict Day
The world is torn at both ends and is savagely being ravaged by the fuels of war. Natural resources are scarce, political intrigue is abundant, and huge gigantic mechs must wage war on all fronts, as the worlds nations are scouring the planet trying to gather whatever resources are left. In order to survive, gamers will use familiar methods from previous titles and will have to adapt to the new additions to multiplayer and co-op. Much like in Armored Core V
, the Operator Mode will focus battles in a real-time environment as you command your squadron of mechs to engage in battles in a war of strategic prowess.
Featuring a new matchmaking system that is focused on generating multiplayer matches with ease, a glorious amount of customisation that will allow gamers to not only create one heck of a powerful mech, but will also allow you to make it look badass to boot, and players will now be able to form squads of up to 20 members to take on other factions, all the while battling for the control of territories around the world.Armored Core: Verdict Day
will be available this Fall.
