Three New MGR DLC Packs Revealed

Details have emerged via Platinum Games' official blog that three new DLC packs are currently in the works for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance.

The first of these packs will contain 30 new VR missions with a variety of different gameplay styles, such as a side-scrolling, unarmed combat mission and another where you will take control of a Dwarf Gecko. This pack will also include a wooden sword named 'Soul Snake' that, when used, speaks in Solid Snake's voice.

Unfortunately, this content will be Playstation 3 exclusive in North America, though it will be available for the Xbox 360 in all other territories.

The Second DLC pack will give players the chance to take control of Raiden’s nemesis Jetstream Sam. Details are currently quite limited, but the images that have been released show Sam in combat with Cyborgs and a Metal Gear RAY.

The Third and final of these DLC packs will let you play as LQ-84i, also known as the Bladewolf, though no other details have been revealed as to what this pack will entail.

Platinum hasn’t announced a release window for the packs except that the DLC VR missions are due out in Japan sometime in April. They also stated that all the images were of content that is still currently in development. Stay tuned to TA for more info as and when it arrives.
