Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds DLC Trailers

By Ashley Woodcock,
With 5pb.inc's fresh release for retro-arcade style fans out there, it's time to take a look at the first piece of DLC goodness for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds with the incoming "Kurisu Pack".

We covered the reveal of this DLC last month, but since then, it all went a little bit quiet besides a few different trailers that didn't give any mention or details of the DLC. Now we have three new trailers showcasing Kurisu Makise, an upcoming playable character known from another one of 5pb's games, Steins;Gate.

Mixing it up with the current characters from Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds, Kurisu will be playable in Arcade, Co-op and Battle Ground modes, as well as being eligible for the promised level cap increase that sees the maximum level soar from 50 to 99. Check out the first trailer to witness Kurisu in action in all of her level 99 glory:

Eager fans of the XBLA title will surely be wondering where the special-move trailer is. 5pb have been kind enough to release the said trailer too, as Kurisu makes very short work of the various enemies she faces in a few different locations of the game. Press play, and be amazed!

Wait! There's even more to Kurisu's arsenal! This set of special moves packs less of a one-hit punch than the Satellite Dish does but can still be effective when used efficiently. Kurisu has the ability to use various "Future Gadgets" to help with the large gangs of enemies she encounters. In the trailer, we see three of these Future Gadgets in action as Kurisu keeps a little bit of distance between herself and the enemies:

Adding eight new achievements totaling up to an extra 100 GamerScore, the "Kurisu Pack" DLC for Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds will be available to download on March 12th for 400 MSP. The full game itself is available right now and can be downloaded here for 800 MSP.

We've got the full list of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds achievements - check the list for guides to unlocking them.
