Rambo: The Video Game Hope Destruction Screen

By Chewie,
Violent sociopath and serial mumbler John J Rambo understands that, in war, one of the best tactics is to bide your time and take out your enemies one by one when the opportunity presents itself, rather than wading in all-guns-blazing like a one-man army. Oh, who am I kidding, Rambo only knows how to fight in the latter way.

Regardless, the media for upcoming title, Rambo: The Video Game, which recreates sequences from the first three Rambo films, has been filtering through in very small doses: a screenshot here, an image there, a smattering of pictures right here. We await the day when developer Reef Entertainment ditches the 'softly softly' approach, straps on the big guns and fires a whole airstrike of media our way. Until then, we've got another solitary screenshot to show you.

The screen shows a faithful recreation of the final portion of the original film, First Blood, in which our titular Vietnam vet wages a one-man war on the streets of Hope with an M60 machine gun.

Rambo: The Video Game is due to be released on the Xbox 360 later this year.
