Ashes Cricket 2013: Additional Game Details Emerge

By Andrew Ogley, 5 years ago
Cricket fans will be pleased to learn that publisher 505 Games have revealed some more details for their upcoming title

The game currently being developed by Trickstar Games, is said to have a new gaming engine which aims to deliver a truly authentic experience. Batsmen will have complete 360 degree control over shot placements whilst bowlers will be able to determine their own line and length for each bowl. Furthermore, players will have the choice to either set their own field or use automatic computer controlled placement.

Matches will take place on various grounds under differing weather conditions, and just like its real life counterpart, a playing surface will deteriorate and change over the course of many days play. These changes will challenge the player to adapt different styles of play and apply different tactics over the course of a match.

Along with official Ashes teams from England and Australia, players will also be able to compete against other teams from the rest of the world in various leagues and limited over matches.

Ashes Cricket 2013 is due to be released on June 21st, 2013, which is just a few weeks ahead of the real matches beginning in July.
